Advice on additional testing…

Hi everyone. On Monday we found out that our 3rd and final frozen embryo cycle had failed. We’ve had 1 failed fresh which ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks, 1 chemical pregnancy from FET and one straight up fail. We get another free round on the NHS but I’m reluctant to go again until I’ve tried a few things to increase our chances.

The reason we’re having IVF is because I have a blocked right tube. I did have 2 blocked tubes and hyposalpinx on the left but had the left tube removed in January. I’m wondering if anyone can recommend any further tests me and my partner could have to reduce the possibilities of further complications. My partner had a routine sperm analysis about 18 months ago but that’s all he’s had. I’ve had routine bloods etc but only the basic ones they do on the NHS.

Any advice would be great and I’m willing to try anything that’s going to give me peace of mind and potentially help us next time round.

My plan is to have 3 months off and start again in April.

Please help xxxx

so sorry for your losses. This journey is a rough rollercoaster. I would definitely suggest a DNA fragmentation test for ur partner. Semen analysis isn't enough and doesn't give a detailed enough result especially that you've had miscarriage. Good plan to give yerselfs 3 months. Take good supplements, acupuncture and good diet / exercise and try your best to keep stress free 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thorombophilia - as you MCed, full thyroid panel including antibodies (NHS usually only tests TSH so you might need to go private), hysteroscopy with uterine biopsy for chronic endometritis.

Depending on your age, if over 37, you may benefit from PGT-A.
