DHEA supplements
Hi everyone! Can I ask if anyone has used DHEA for fertility aid and if it helped? Also, are there any known side effects and is It ok to take if you have a good egg reserve? It was recommended to me by my doctor to use to prepare for my second round of IVF.

IVF medications to stop at 12 weeks, how sure can you go cold turkey?
I’m looming to the 12 week marker. In terms of stopping my IVF medication. I’m currently on Lubion once a day, 3 x 400mg of Cyclogest and 4 x 2mg of prognova. I’ve been told by my IVF clinic to stop cold turkey when I hit 12 weeks.. however, I’m really scared to do this.. my pregnancy journey has not

Access Fertility - London - experiences . How to research clinics?
Any tips on researching clinics? No idea where to start. Thinking to go ahead and pay for a 50% refund course of IVF at Access Fertility before my 40th birthday- if you decide you don't want to go ahead you can get a full refund. I am so pushed for time because I am 40 mid may. My husband is booked

Heavy periods
I’ve just started towards my next next FET and I’m concerned at the heaviness and clots from my period. I had endo zapped a few years ago before my first IVF with OE. Moved on to DE now. My clinic don’t seem to be concerned or want to do any investigations/treatment, but after 6 failed transfers of 8

colposcopy while trying / ivf timing
I have a colposcopy scheduled for just after my next period which will be my first natural bleed after my second failed cycle. I had an appointment in august before my first cycle and they didn’t take a biopsy because I wanted to to ahead with the cycle. I am wondering if they do need to take a biopsy

Confused: what does this mean?
So I've just been told that the reason my follicle may not be growing is due to "dysfunctional follicle secondary to the egg quality in that follicle". This is on a monitoring cycle with 6x 150 meriofert injections. Can anyone actually explain what this means / could mean? I'm about to start IVF next

After 5 failed donor egg transfers it's the end of the road
Hi everyone,I wanted to wish all of you amazing strong ladies the best in your IVF journeys! I know it takes so much strength to get through this. Sadly it was not meant to be for me and I'm at the end of my journey. I had three pgt tested donor eggs (all 6 day embryos but supposedly 50-65% chance per

Is it ok to TTC before IVF?
I’m having my second short protocol cycle later this month. Starting with norithisterone on days 19-27 and then stims on 2nd/3rd day of bleed which would be expected a few days after coming off the norithisterone. Is it dangerous to TTC around ovulation this month? Nurses at clinic said it’s fine, but

Help.. Chemical Pregnancy
Hi everyone, Looking for some advice/thoughts. My partner and I are a same sex couple. Over the last 7 years I have had 7 rounds of ivf. Our last cycle in November ended with a failed fresh transfer and one high level mosaic that they have recommended we don’t use. Our cycle in Jan gave us 3 embryos

Implantation bleeding or start of period?
Me and my wife (same sex couple) have recently undergone our first round of IVF treatment. My wife had a day 3 embryo transfer, graded best for cells (9) and symmetry on transfer day. My wife had a few symptoms within the two week wait, but all that could be linked to her progesterone pessaries or pregnancy

Happy Mother’s to be Day to all my fellow IVF warriors out there. Stay strong, we got this 💪🏻 I have found today difficult watching my little nephew hand presents to his mamma (my sister) and my mum (his GG), but also in a bitter sweet twist, my period started today, so it’s day 1 of my prep towards

Preparing for FET
Hi ladies. I'm preparing for my first FET. I have a lot of emotions right now as I don't know what to expect. stims and egg freezing… help
I’m in the US and I’m doing egg freezing which is the first part of IVF. I only have one tube and ovary and I am on stims day 4. Lost the other side to ovarian torsion. I feel pressure down there and I’m getting worried about if this is normal or not? Also getting very gassy. afc 11, amh 1.96

BMI for IVF
Hi, Please could anyone help - I’m 43, so now too old for NHS funded IVF, so will need to go private if we decide to go ahead… I know that one of the stipulations for NHS funded IVF, is BMI under 30 for myself and my husband…is it the same for private treatment, or do rules differ depending on area
