Best thing for us to do is to keep complaining to Drs/Endos/etc to carry out tests we know we need! We add FT3 TPO etc on our blood forms!
My GP rang me earlier regarding messages I sent online. He said come for face to face appointment tomorrow to go through Blue Horizon blood results and to see the Nurse for a B12 injection...Just shocked because they don't know my B12 results yet. I just asked them for the best B supplements and extra

Just diagnosed Overactive
Here are my levels: TSH <0.01 (0.35-5) Free T3 14.8 (2.6-5.7)
TPO
Positive 39.2 (0.0-5.6) Free T4 27.8 (9-22) I have lost a stone since being on lockdown, cannot sleep at all, very shaky hands, and just so tired! If anyone has advice on any treatment and for how long I would be grateful.

Starting Desiccated Thyroid
My
TPO
antibodies have slowly been declining since September 2018 but my TA remain off the charts. Anyway, I have a 100 tablets of 1 Grain WP Thyroid at hand. 1) My inclination tells me to start with a 1/4 grain and retest in a month. Do you guys agree this could be a good strategy?

Hi all, just a quick one - I've just had my Thyroid Function Blood Test back, and it seems to have fluctuated since the last time?
To give context, I've had many thyroid function blood tests now, and they all say they've been within "normal range" even though my TSH was (last year) 7.2,
TPO
>1300 and T4 13. Edit: I have since been diagnosed with Underactive Thyroid but have not been granted medication.

The Importance of Nutritional Factors and Dietary Management of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
It is caused by an increased level of titers of antibody against thyroid peroxidase (
TPO
) and thyroglobulin (TG). Because of that,in HT patients, changes are observed in the level and metabolism of thyroid hormones, which leads to unspecified physical and psychological symptoms.

New member...questions about hashimotos and autoimmune encephalitis
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2002 based on the following labs: TSH 19.4 mUI/L (0.35-4.5) FT4 0.41 ng/dL (0.7-1.5) anti-
TPO
UI/mL 6011 (<11) anti-TG 411 UI/mL (<4) No FT3 tested at the time as doctor said it was "useless". I was put on 50 mcg of Euthyrox and worked my way slowly up.

Can ignorance be bliss...?
O dear...diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in the 1970s, I read Slow Dragon's response to jjames66 query and have to admit to not having a clue about TSH, FT4, FT3,
TPO
and TG thyroid antibodies, ferritin, and their significance... anyone care to fill me in?

Do I have a looming/potential thyroid problem
I’m almost half way through my second pregnancy and because my mum was concerned about certain symptoms, which I’ve always had and certain blood test results from a few years ago, being less than optimal, she suggested I get re-tested. This I did and here they are. For some reason I could only upload

Low Vitamin D and thyroid hormone utilization connection?
Also, I recently had test for
TPO
antibodies, and it came back 12IU/ML, with a reference range of 0-30. At what point is one considered to have Hashimotos? Thanks.
