Need Help with Iron & Ferritin Results
So I recently switched to NDT and overall it didn't go too well. I read that one thing that can cause problems is low iron, and my results seem sub optimal, especially for a man. Ferritin 74 (20-345) Total Iron 71 (50-180) TIBC 255 (250-425) Saturation 28% (15-60) According to what I've read, men

Pay attention to your nipples! They might be trying to tell you something.
I had noticed for some time that one nipple was dry and scaley, then one day I had a milky discharge - like dried oatmeal! I washed it off, but the next day, my nipple stuck to my bra and it started bleeding. I went to a walk-in clinic, and they gave me a treatment but also told me to make an appointment

Time for a change
I have the BRAC 2 gene and have had a mastectomy and full hysterectomy to give me the best chance at a long and health life but realised that despite having major surgery I haven’t got my backside up off the couch and am so unfit - it dawned on me how ridiculous this was. So here I am on day two and

Against the clock!
Mr PB30 i have been informed that I need to lose 6 stone before I can have a gaul bladder removal operation. I had an operation last year to remove 30 gaul stones from my bike duct. Anyway the clock is ticking. Say I manage to lose 2 lbs a week: that's 42 weeks! I may have to undergo the first operation

Help Assessing Results - Low T3, Low Folate
Hi all, first post for me, and what a wonderful and supportive forum this is. So happy I found it. I’m hoping some of the experienced thyroid analysts could come out and offer their thoughts on my blood work. My Dr. flagged a few things, among which was low T3, and low folate, and said some conventional

Hysterectomy/endometriosis
I had a total hysterectomy 7 weeks ago we’re they found stage 3-4 endometriosis ( had symptoms of this for the last 12 years but always got told I didn’t have it ) my consultant told me I cannot take HRT as it could make the endo grow on my organs as it grows with the hormones I’m struggling with night

Bones and pain
Every bone in my body hurts. From my shoulders down to my ankles, it feels like I’ve been working out non stop (I haven’t) Is this normal? ( I’m on decepeptyl injection and taking tivilone) or should I get it checked out? I was aching so much the other day I lay ina hot bath for an hour.. this did ease
