Hi everyone, I have posted here a few times about my issues with levothyroxine and have received some amazing responses which have really helped! Last year my levothyroxine dose was increased from 50mg to 100mg as blood tests showed my TSH was still on the high side. Also I couldn't lose weight- no matter

Ferritin/iron result - should I increase iron supplementation?
Hi everyone, I have just received the result from Medichecks re my iron deficiency check. When first diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2017, my ferritin was 33. For one month I supplemented with one ferrous fumarate 210 mg per day, then stopped for fear of overdosing. A couple of months after that I did

Hives, Alpha-Gal, Dry Eyes
Hi. I’m new here. Looking for help with chronic hives. I had a complete hysterectomy in August, after which I developed the hives. I have been diagnosed with Alpha-Gal, which is a beef and pork nitolerance. It is possibly from a Lone Star Tick bite. I dont’ remember the tick, but 80% of the time that

Flap surgery
Hi there I had a chemo, mastectomy, radiation and now reconstruction on Tuesday. I decided to get the flap surgery instead of implant. Since I had radiation and skin isn’t same plus you will have to get another surgery in 5 years. Has anyone ever had the flap surgery where they use belly fat instead

Gall Bladder Removal
Hi all. I have Hashi' s and PA. A recent Gastroscopy revealed stomach erosion and inflammation. I had my gallbladder removed several years ago and wondered if that had any effect on the acid balance in the stomach. Any information please.

New Here - Hello!
Hi I am new here and this is my first post. I was diagnosed in 2008 with Type IIB, had double mastectomy, then two years later a full hysterectomy (BRCA gene). Then really was NED for 10 years. After reaching the 10 year milestone, I had a reoccurrence in my lungs and I am stage IV. Started on Faslodex

Pain at 3months,doctor acts like I should be healed.
I'm at 3 mos, total knee replacement, I hurt. My doctor says I should be healed. The ibuprofen nor the tylenol works. I've been working out with a recumbent bike and treadmill. I feel better when I'm moving, after I sit,,,my knee is swollen red/blackish. I put ice on it, only thing that helps. Then

Cackling myself
So just had to confirm my surgery day for a Total hysterectomy, removal of cyst, excision of endo and seperation of my bowel and bladder off my uterus and section scar. Anyone under Mr Aty at Burnley Hospital?? How was the recovery? I guess I’m just having pre-op nerves. Obviously I’m hoping to
