B12 early days of injections
He has autoimmune
thyroiditis
, NCGS and psoriasis and is under investigation for Hashimoto’s encephalopathy due to memory and cognitive issues, though the neurologist can find nothing of concern organically. B12 blood levels are moderately high normal on oral supplements.

under/Over/Graves? You decide 😉
I may have
thyroiditis
! Was told to stop medication and see which way my body goes and then they will know if I need to stay on carbizamole or Thyroxin, she said she would arrange for me to have a Cortisol test.

thyroidectomy
hi I had a near total thyroidectomy in feb due to hashimotos
thyroiditis
causing a large multinodular goitre in my neck. I’ve just had my latest bloods back T4 is 18.2 and TSH is 1.68. I’m struggling with physical exhaustion and joint pain more so than before.

GPs have no clue!
My hypo is a result of Subacute
Thyroiditis
and so far it's not been proven to be autoimmune. hashimoto's is a immunity illness, hypo itself in not autoimmune, is a thyroid function issue and they need different approach. Sadly, I read this after I got home.

Lactose intolerance? Perimenopause?
Because patients with Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
may be treated with thyroid hormone medications, the absorption of their thyroid hormone medication may be affected because of the lactose intolerance issue.

LDN for ADHD when taking Concerta?
I have been using LDN (am currently on 3.5mg - 1mg at night, 2.5 morning) myself for quite a while now and it does really help with joint and muscle pain due to autoimmune
thyroiditis
, MCAS and fibromyalgia. I thought we could try it with my daughter and see whether it helps her at all.

The results are in, over to the judges.
Losing the outer edges of my eyebrows I never suffered any of the above before suffering Subacute
Thyroiditis
in Sept 2021, with the exception of occasional tinnitus, when I was off colour.

I also have Hashimoto's

(diagnosed in my thirties). Any advice on supplementing B12 injections would be much appreciated.

Help with results and medication
hello, I have been on 25-50 mcg of thyroxine ever since I had post partum
thyroiditis
3+ years ago. My levels were ok so I just stopped there, I have never felt well at all and have really struggled with an array of symptoms ever since.

Another antigoagulant question
A year ago I had painless
thyroiditis
which sent me into Afib and I remained in Afib constantly for 5 months for which I was on bisoprolol and an anticoagulant. I was then put on an anti arrhythmia meds at the time the thyroid cleared up and was soon back in NSR. That was last March.

Advanced Thyroid Function Test Results
My diagnosis to date (approx 7/8 years) has been autoimmune
thyroiditis
with multinodular goitre. I have quite a large swelling in the right side of my neck and this resulted in a referral to ENT after difficulty getting a breathing tube down my throat in a breast cancer operation last year.

Autoimmune thyroiditis with lump in throat as first symptom and normal thyroid levels - medication necessary?
I was diagnosed with autoimmune
thyroiditis
last month after a neck and thyroid ultrasound. I went to the doctor initially as have had a constant lump in my throat since June andbwas worried about throat cancer (I am 44 and haven't smoked since my early 20s but my dad had throat cancer).

Test Result Guidance Please 🙏
To the wise oricles and sages in the group, please could you guide me with my Atrophic Autoimmune
Thyroiditis
. Despite waiting soooo long to get a private test result, I had been preparing myself for "within range" results. (How sad is that?)
