Looking for help :(
*I was removed off Levo nov22 due to feeling worse after some time on it and endo suspecting it was postpartum
thyroiditis
. That’s when they found my tpo positive. I paid private to see him after battling my GP for a referral and he then put me back on his nhs list.

The Influence of Nutritional Intervention in the Treatment of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis-A Systematic Review
"Secondly, the disease is not a homogeneous condition, and variability between patients is high." My favourite sentence in the whole paper. :D Even though this is not what the paper is about. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36839399/

Do I have lupus?
Then earlier this year was having palpitations and chest pain and it turned out I had autoimmune
thyroiditis
. So I recently went back to my gp and she has once again referred me to rheumatology. Do you think these things are unrelated or do you think it's lupus.

Vocal chord damage in thyroidectomy
Had been seeing an Endo for 10 years before this for autoimmune
thyroiditis
, the swelling in my neck had continuously grown but he was never concerned about it as ultrasound had shown benign multinodular goitre. I asked to be referred to a surgeon to talk it through and here we are.

Theoretical question regarding COVID vaccine and treatment of transient hypothyroidism.
What I want to know is if your treating your hypothyroidism with levothyroxine while you have
thyroiditis
but then gradually the
thyroiditis
disappears after around 6-12 months (which happens apparently) will you still be reliant on the levothyroxine or will you have to reduce Levo to a point where

Hypothyroidism secondary to Hashimito's
thyroiditis
does not make your TSH undetectable in itself. T3 and T4 vary through the day and depend on when you took your thyroid tablets. T3 and T4 are the 'snapshot' thyroid markers, whereas TSH is a less volatile marker.

Undiagnosed and confused
My latest blood tests show: TSH: 7.07 munit/L T4: 14.1 pmol/L T3: 5.0 pmol/L TSH receptor antibodies: 3.98 unit/ I have been told by different doctors that this could be subacute
thyroiditis
, could be Hashimoto's or was even told that the blood results could be an error!

can thyroid disease cause sore throat, throast discomfort and tension in neck/face?
I had an ultrasound of my neck that said my thyroid had a hetergeneous ecostructure with increased vascularity and micronodular texture suggestive of
thyroiditis
. I had another ultrasound which referred only to a coarse texture and made no further comment on
thyroiditis
.

I'm looking for info and reassurance from anyone on rivaroxaban concerning taking vitamin k2
I also have Pernicious anaemia and hashimotos
thyroiditis
, low vit d. I've looked on numerous groups regarding vit k2 but still unsure if its safe to take as a co factor to vit d, while taking rivaroxaban. I'm desperate to feel well again🙄

New paper linking mineral uptake and autoimmune thyroiditis.
This excellent paper (available) relates the value of minerals (well known to TUK) on thyroid function. No surprises but a handy lever to convince doctors of minerals' importance in AIT therapy. There are several papers in this research topic, and this can lead onto their access.

PA symptoms?
DH has autoimmune
thyroiditis
, NCGS and psoriasis. And a whole host of symptoms having been misdiagnosed for ages. He’s on levothyroxine but his memory loss is way more than you’d normally see with
thyroiditis
and the neurologists aren’t sure what it is.
