hi can anyone help i had thyroid blood test which show low tsh I have read that to conceive your tsh should be between 1 and 2.4 I have conceived twice but miscarried both times once when tsh was 0.71 and 0.60 I feel like I have no problem conceiveing when it’s near 1 but when it’s low I can’t conceive my Endo said there’s nothing they can give me to raise my tsh I don’t think that’s true Also my thyroid scan showed my thyroid is a bit inflamed he said it could be thyroiditis and it has to resolve on its own I think it’s re acurring thyrioditis and if it’s not treated my tsh won’t rise can any help or has anyone being in a Simalr situation

also tested negative to graves , Hashimotos , celiac and lupus I have done every test possible and the only thing coming back is low tsh my Endo refuses to treat it he there is no treatment for it

TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies

ALWAYS test thyroid levels early morning

Plus essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Have you had ultrasound scan of thyroid for possible hot nodules

If not request one or organise a private scan (about £100)

ft4 is 17.5 pmol , ranges from 10.9-25.3 so that is within range

Ft3 is 10.80 pmol , ranges from 4.26-8.10 so that is out of range

Tsh is 0.02 , ranges is 0.40 -4.05

So that is out of range they done a thyroid scan with iodine injection and my thyroid was inflamed so my Endo suspects thyrioditis but I think it is recurrent thyrioditis so I got a 3 week course of prednisolone to see if the inflammation goes away but I still believe I won’t conceive it my tsh doesn’t get within the higher range closer to 1 -2.4 it’s a concidence I conceived twice when it was higher within range and also for the last two months since I found out my tsh is low i haven’t ovulated my endo said there is not treatment for low tsh is that true ?

Request full iron panel test for anaemia including ferritin

What were most recent vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin results

Did you test zinc before starting supplements

Excess zinc can cause hair loss……as well as inadequate zinc

You need TPO and TG antibodies tested for Hashimoto’s
