Josh Rubin says this about how Hashi is treated …
Unfortunately, states of inflammation and high stress, make it close to impossible to convert T4 to T3.The ONLY way to effectively address Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
is to reduce the inflammation, regulate the immune system and increase thyroid hormone conversion.”

Confusing results, symptoms, coeliac looking for advice
Wondering if anyone can help me work out what I should do with these, does it look like I have Hashimotos
thyroiditis
but not enough to effect my thyroid function? (High antibodies but normal TSH). I could only add one image but everything else in range.

New blood test results
I did say about my antibodies being high - so I have autoimmune
thyroiditis
, but he didn't answer. Regarding vitamins, I have been taking vitamin D 2000 a day since August/September, and a D3 with K2 spray twice a week.

This is an excellent new example of how to miss the whole point of modern thinking on diagnosis and treatment. No better in the full text
Primary hypothyroidism due to chronic autoimmune
thyroiditis
is largely the most common cause of thyroid hormone deficiency. Central hypothyroidism is a rare and heterogeneous disorder characterized by decreased thyroid hormone secretion by an otherwise normal thyroid gland, due to lack of TSH.

So, anything with an “-itis” – like hepatitis, dermatitis,
thyroiditis
– can be complications of interferon. We try to avoid interferon in patients that have a predisposition to autoimmune disease.

Thyroiditis and DOR
Hi, I posted recently about having a diminished ovarian reserve 😢 after going down a rabbit hole of research I found that this may be due in part to my age (40 years young) but also could be due to my
thyroiditis
condition!

Thyroditis, short suppressed TSH
looking back in my records from 2014 it appears i had 2 short suppressed TSH and a normal T3 ( can't find the T3 value🙄) with what the endo said was a
thyroiditis
episode with the possibility of this being subclinical HYPERthyroidism, ( TPO Ab were negative) "although she is having episodes of palpitations

Thank you and update
An elevation in these antibodies is to be expected in those who have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. Your vitamin D levels are at the low end of the normal range. vitamin D levels which are not in optimal range can affect your motivation to exercise, and your speed and stamina whilst exercising.

pegalated interferon and thyroid
My concern is that it’s the interferon as I know
thyroiditis
can be a side effect. Has anyone had this issue and what was your experience - symptoms, treatment etc.?
