The model explains why thyroid disorders such as Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
and Graves' disease have both subclinical and clinical states and explains the complex inverse relation between TSH and thyroid hormones.

autommine thyroiditis
I've been diagnosed with autoimmune
thyroiditis
recently. My thyroid Is overactive. I'm having tremors, head twitches, incredibly dizzy, skin irritations and bad bowels. I had some bloods done to check my b12, as they were thinking it may need supplementing.

Fast forward and I read some articles about how you’re not supposed to take it with autoimmune
thyroiditis
so I panicked and stopped taking it.

Two PerPLEXing Cases of Hashimoto’s Encephalopathy Unresponsive to Steroid and Intravenous Immunoglobulin Therapy
What should it be called in future given "steroid-responsive encephalopathy associated with autoimmune
thyroiditis
(SREAT)" is potentially dangerously misleading name?

Hypothyroidism developed postpartum 17 years ago most likely as postpartum
thyroiditis
. I have been taking and increasing Estradiol and Progesterone recently and my doctor thinks this may be why my thyroid levels have changed. I know that my numbers were not good back in April.

Necrobiosis lipoidica arising on an old burn scar in a patient with Hashimoto's thyroiditis
A classic situation which is likely to see this not being listed as a possible result of Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
. After all, there will be a huge majority who do NOT get this.

Dr refusing to do full thyroid test
Hey, I was diagnosed with
thyroiditis
9 years ago after giving birth. I initially had an overactive thyroid but then it turned to underactive. I take 75mg levothyroxine every day. My docs check my tsh levels every 6 months and they're always in the normal range (last test it was 1.63).

I have Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
and trying to improve my fatigue and brain fog. The GP has done other blood tests but refused anything further with low B12. I know, its not a surprise... So, should I expect any help from GP/ NHS? Or should I carry on sorting my health issues with advice from here?
