Bowel Problems...
Hello everyone, I think I already know the answer from other posts, so sorry for repeating, but I get so confused over the symptoms I get and I'd like to see what you think. I had a lap 15 years ago and was told I had adhesions between my uterus and bowel and I believe it was treated. I had two kids

Ibs- C then sudden D. Any successes?
My issue is that I will be constipated for several days. Then at sudden moment, I have to go to the bathroom fast— like within a couple of minutes. And it will be total diarrhea for hours until I’m completely empty. Anyone else experience this? Any tips? it’s more pronounced when traveling. I’ll

Diabetes and oesophagectomy
I had an oesophagectomy (keyhole) in December 2021. I've made a slow, steady recovery and feel very lucky to be as well as I am today. I eat well but of course in much smaller quantities.I'm a type 2 diabetic and prior to my op I had my diabetes well controlled using Metformin and diet. I was told, at

Sjogren's and eyes
I suffer with sjogren's and have been seen by many eye Dr's at my local hospital that is Addenbrooke's Cambridge. The last Dr I saw told me I had tried everything I could try. My eye's have been reasonably good on very calm days but a windy day upsets them and now the colder weather. The thought

Overactive Bladder Syndrome
Bit strange to post this here but bear with me please. It seems that many of the med's for OAB have a side effect of high heart rate. I've been diagnosed with Paroxysmal Tachycardia and am trying Tolterodine for my OAB (which increased my comfort level considerably) but have had to stop as my monthly

Mutation Levels
I have seen other discussions re bad mutations , on my regular letter to my doctor from my haematologist it states : Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia associated with high risk variants including loss of the LEU and ATM genes. As per my normal blood results, do these have a high and low level and if so

Hi all I’ve addressed a thyroid issue - Hashimotos, with the help from the thyroid site. I’m still experiencing fatigue. I am in meno/post menopausal stage. Symptoms do over lap, but have suspected B12 issue for some time. Tend to get low active B12 results. Lots of B12 symptoms. Dr not interested,

Tried Bovine Thyroid Supplement - feel very ill!
I could really use some help. I just started on a beef thyroid supplement this morning (Grassfed Beef Thyroid by Ancestral Supplements). And it looks like my body is reacting the same way it reacted when I tried 2 porcine thyroid supplements in the past - heart palpitations and severe fatigue. Although

Saw eye dr today for yearly visit
And when I was reading the lines when she askes which is better, which is worse, I couldn't make out the bottom line because it was so blurry. Turns out, I have early cattaracts that are right in my line of vision. I will eventually need cataract removal surgery. I am in my mid 40s. The eye dr said

Feeling of something stuck in throat
Before my TT I had a constant feeling of something stuck in my throat which was due to my enlarged thyroid pressing on something. I had a cold about 6 weeks ago which has caused a lot of phlegm, and now I have the feeling of something constantly stuck in my throat again. Is it possible that this could

Foraminotomy
has anybody had a posterior endoscopic foraminotomy? In particular for bone spurs. I could be looking at this surgery once injections have been exhausted. Would be interested in hearing from people about how they found it, did it work, and crucially what was your post op experience like, pain levels,
