choosing birth method after IVF - should I be induced?
My consultant has offered me induction or C-section at 39 weeks due to the fact I’m assisted fertility and of an anxious disposition. keen to understand from anyone that’s been in a similar position and been induced with an oxytocin drip how it was? I’m reading lots of scary stories about how painful

Anxiety about not doing pgta testing
Hi all I hope you're all OK, or as ok as you can be. I'm feeling really anxious as we never pgta tested our embryos last year when we have IVF. 2 FETs resulted in miscarriage and 1 resulted in BFN. 5 embryos are still frozen which I know is very fortunate and we are awaiting on my period to start so

Where to buy prescription drugs?
Hi! Maybe a bit of a silly question, but I'll have to buy some progesteron oral tablets, pessaries, duphaston, estrogen etc. in the UK and I just want to check if that would be available in any pharmacy or do I need a specialist one? Im doing my IVF abroad and I usually buy all my tablets at my clinic

I’m 41 going through my first cycle. I wanted to try and improve my chances of success due to my age. So have been taking coenzyme q10, regularly, as well as low dose melatonin, and omega 3 oils, folic acid and multivitamins. Also undergoing acupuncture and light therapy to improve egg quality. I’ve

Ovarian rejuvenation after failed IVF
Hello everyone, Just wanted to share bad news with you. I failed another cycle. I discussed options with my doctor but don't know yet what to do. I could carry on with another IVF cycle e pray for a miracle or do an ovary rejuvenation and see if this changes things for good. I soon turn 42 and my AMH

Update *may be sensitive for some*
Update
I haven’t posted in a while but thought I would give an update. I’m now 24 weeks pregnant and have had a semi-smooth pregnancy so far some of the symptoms I’ve had are;
Symptoms
- light bleed (turned out I am A- (RhD Neg) so needed to get the preventative anti D shot early.

Will they stop my IVF (and ICSI) treatment? Miscarriage just before
I have had all my NHS IVF medication delivered, I was just waiting for my period to start any day now so I could begin injections. Then, on Tuesday this week I had my first ever positive pregnancy test. 2 days later I tested again and the test line was not as clear. 3 days later, today, I'm sure I have

*sensitive* BFP on FET and confusing thoughts consuming me and stealing joy
Firstly I hope my post doesn't offend anyone, I know many on this site are just dreaming of a BFP. I completely 3 IUIs, all failed, 1 fresh IVF transfer and a FET transfer. Doing this as a single female aged 35, have been in contact with clinics since 30, some delays in starting treatment due to house

Missed period
Hi All Lovelies, I had my endometrial biopsy last month (results were normal). I spotted after the biopsy up until 6 days later (14/09/23) my period started. I’ve been waiting for my next period, I’m 7 days late and pregnancy test is negative. I had an operation, post period in Sept for another problem

insensitive friend
I kind of guessed my friend was pregnant, as a month ago she asked our group if we were free for dinner for a date a month in advance. She was open about starting trying on her wedding night and got lucky the first time. I missed the meal due to trying to eat healthier for IVF, and it took her 10 days

No period ever
hi everyone, Thank you for always being such a supportive community. I have been going through IVF because of unexplained fertility, mainly I just don’t get my period. I am an avid runner but not underweight. It seems my estrogen is always on the low side and I just don’t have cycles or ovulate. I

hi i hope you're all doing well and keeping strong and whatever stage you are in this journey xx. I've just started Oestrogen in preparation for FET yesterday, today has been my second full day 3 tablets a day. I've got awful headaches like something is crushing my head, feeling more tired than normal

Success stories for FET at 39 years old?
I started my first cycle of IVF in August after 15 months of trying to conceive (I have a naturally conceived 3 year old) no fertility issues likely age/embryo quality related. We had 12 eggs retrieved, 9 fertilised and 2 embryos made it to days 5 and 6. We transferred a fresh 'amazing' embryo first
