New donor embryo cycle, take two
I am about to start my next donor cycle in Spain. Sadly first one failed. At the time I had 9.5mm endometrial lining, best blastocyst grade, and BFN in Oct 2023. After spending years on fertility diet, fertility supplements and following all advice about lifestyle, during my mock cycle I decided to

Donor eggs in Czech Republic
Hello all, After initial success with IVF with my darling daughter conceived at 41 (super thankful and blessed), I have had a further 6 fresh cycles, achieving only one pregnancy with a medicated miscarriage on Xmas day. At the age of 44 I'm now moving to donor eggs. I've researched clinics in Prague

Prednisolone/ corticosteroid prior to IVF & embryo transfer
Hi everyone, Happy 2024.I'd like to know if anyone was advised by the clinic to take Prednisolone 5mg (corticosteroid) every day for 3 months prior to a potential embryo transfer. This was recommended by my gynaecologist in Greece ( even if we did not reach any embryo development or transfer as our

NHS and Endometriosis both caused me lots of pain and complications
I’ve had many horrible symptoms for years including blood in my stool and infertility but my GPs and NHS Gynaecologists couldn’t find out that I’ve had Endometriosis. I was even told I may have bowel cancer as there was blood in my stool, so, my GP asked me to do a colonoscopy but Colonoscopy results

2024 luck
I know most people will be feeling the same as me and be upset and disheartened with everyone’s social media posts from Christmas and now all the new year posts about how amazing their 2023 was etc.. I for one have found it very difficult reading them and seeing them especially when 2023 was rubbish

The eternal supplement conundrum!
Hi all, hope all doing well and all optimistic going into 2024 - and/or grateful for what we’re leaving behind. I’m reviewing our supplements going into ‘24 as a friend of a similar age is on so many I think she must rattle! She is on her IVF journey ahead of me so getting all the advice she can -

Chances of IVF working at 43
Does anyone have any success stories of IVF working with own eggs at age 43? My clinic have told me that the odds are very low for me as my eggs are probably too old but no tests have been conducted to check the quality of my eggs. I have however had 3 natural miscarriages and 1 failed IVF cycle.

After help for a friend, only able to do natural transfers due to migraine?
You all helped me so much when I was on my fertility journey I was hoping you had some information to help my friend. When she was on a contraceptive pill she had to be on progesterone only as she'd previously had a migraine (only 1 or 2 in her lifetime). A couple of months ago she had an EC and transfer

Mild IVF treatment
Hi all, I just wanted to ask if anyone has undergone mild IVF treatment and what are the sucsess rates in comparison to conventional IVF? This protocol was suggested to me by the hospital as I suffered from OHSS during my first treatment, but from what I was told it, may result in less eggs being retrieved

Been crying at the drop of a hat - are my hormones messed up from the (failed) ivf rounds?
There is a lot going on, so alongside the three rounds of ivf that haven't worked it might be that I am crying so easily because my life feels like a nightmare, but I don't normally cry this easily. Has anyone else found they cry a lot more than normal as a result of going through the whole rigmarole

What do you do to keep a sense of purpose and fulfilment in life whilst desperately waiting for a baby?
I'm aware many people on here will have been trying to bring home a baby longer than I have, and would love their advice. I'm currently looking at my diary and feeling sad that I can't start IVF for another few months due to delays in my local area, and I recognise based on the experience of others

Go with ERA timings or standard timings?
Hello Would welcome any thoughts. I had an ERA done in February this year (2023) which indicated I was pre-receptive. So I needed an extra 27 hours of progesterone before my transfer. We applied these timings in July with a PGTA tested embryo. On that cycle we also used immune medications and blood

Am I testing too early?
On 17th December we transferred 2 embryos. The nurse told us to test on 26th, which I’ve done and it’s negative :( they have only prescribed me enough progesterone till today, but does anyone think this is too early to be testing? Suppose I’m looking for a little hope. This was my first IVF, following
