use of omnitrope in ivf
Just wondered if any IVFers out there have been recommended omnitrope or used it? Especially in UK? Seems my friend in US recently used it and added some success level to their next steps so I’m curious! Thanks :)

We came out of the cycle with one normal fertilised egg, should we get it tested for genetic abnormalities?
It looks like I have a polyp... we only have one egg after a round of IVF stims. Should I do as much as possible to make sure the uterine environment is perfect and risk the embryo dying in the genetic testing/freezing/thawing process? Or should we just throw caution to the wind and try a fresh transfer

Endo regrowth after failed IVF
Hi all, I don’t know if anyone has any help or advice on this but I thought I’d ask. Has anyone gone through multiple rounds of IVF and found that their endo has started to worsen after laparoscopic removal? I’ve had 3 failed rounds of PGD IVF (medicated both long and short protocols) and had my laparoscopy

Egg Collection
Hi everyone, I have my day 10 scan soon hopefully followed by egg collection. This is our first round of IVF so don’t know what to expect. What was your experience of the egg collection process?

Experiences going self funded on NHS vs transferring to private clinic?
Hi all, I hope you're doing well. We have recently had an unsuccessful IVF cycle funded by NHS. Where we live you only get 1 transfer from such cycle + freezing of embryos included. We have two 5 day embryos frozen, so our next step would be to do a self funded FET, the fertility clinic does take self

unused medication donation Hi ladies, I haven't been on this forum for a while, as we have been taking some time out of this IVF madness. We have some Fostimon 75iu left that expires next month. I would feel so sad to bin this medication. Altogether we have 8x 75iu of Fostimon. Also, I have 1

Travel insurance when undergoing IVF UK
Hi, does anyone have experience of UK travel insurers and medical screening questions? I am in the early stage of my first IVF cycle. I have booked a holiday for after the first cycle is complete (and I will know an outcome from the 2 week pregnancy test). I have spoken to an insurer who said that

supplements before IVF
Following a recent chemical pregnancy after my 5th transfer I am having a few months break to decide next steps. Our infertility is unexplained and I am now 39. Having read it starts with an egg I am putting an action plan together to give us the best possible chances in our next round or to help us

Life journeys and what I have learned
I have been thinking about closing my profile here for a long time now, and I think it is finally time. I wanted to make a last post though, as a closure for me and hoping it might help someone. My journey to try to get pregnant started 7.5 years ago. My son was born in Dec 19. It wasn't the longest

Baby not growing as he should at 26+5
Hello, I'm currently at 26+5 with twin babies, a boy and a girl. We conceived through donor egg IVF and have been over the moon. The worry never goes away, though. As it's twins, we had a growth scan + dopplers at 24+3 weeks. Both twins were small, with the girl on the 12th percentile, but they were

***Sensitive*** hope for those over 40
I would like to share my story to give others hope during this difficult journey. I am 41 years old and 5 months pregnant. It was the most difficult time in my life but all the stress, I am hoping, will pay off soon. It took us 3 years eventually to get pregnant, 3 ivf cycles, 5 transfers, and one miscarrage

Allergy / antihistamines after egg transfer? Other options?
Hi all, I had an IVF fresh transfer yesterday, EC was 4 days prior. But concerned as Sunday I developed a rash on my calf's, it's a rash I've had before and does seem to take a week or so to go away, I think it's after shaving legs then wearing trousers with a slight texture, like linen. Normally

Not promoting DE route but just want to tell mama’s out there please don’t give up. Opting Egg Donor route is no harm
Hello warrior out there. Hope your ivf journey is going smoothly and please don’t give up. And always stay positive, stress or anxiety during the treatment can bring flaws. So positivity is very important. Personal experience, when I took too much stress or overthinking, I had failed cycle. So please

laparoscopy - recovery time before starting IVF.
hi all, I am thinking about doing laparoscopy surgery abroad (Turkey) to remove 5cm cyst on ovary and possibly small fibroids (3 fibroids: 66mm, 10mm and 7mm) and was wondering if anyone knows approximately how long it takes to recover before I can do IVF cycle again? Also, I read some posts re.

1st FET - BFN
Had a beta test today and it was BFN - I succumbed to the temptation and tested early with urine tests, so I knew what was coming. We weren't expecting for it to work first time, but still disappointing. Sorry little one 💔 Going to plop myself on a balcony and have some bubbles and sushi tonight to

Soy Isoflavens and Black Cohosh
I am having a nightmare getting my gp to prescribe Femara (she isnt a fertility expert and we have now cut ties with our clinic). We considered a mild ivf cycle, but we have to postpone this idea for financial reasons. I am going to try soy isolflavens. I am on cycle day 2. Will i start tomorrow, and

Implantation failure?
Hello everyone, This was my first attempt of IVF and it has been (as everyone knows!) the most stressful time of my life. We tried to conceive naturally for quite a long time (about 6 years) and after being checked, apparently nothing is wrong with either of us. However, we've been recommended IVF/ICSI
