Turnaround time for Blue Horizons?
Hi, This is my first post here but have previously posted on PA. Had my bloods taken on 7th March for the Thyroid 6 blood test with Blue Horizon. They advised me by email after I'd placed the order that if the samples are sent to Edinburgh, that they are updating their systems so there may be delays.

I think most will. Adding June 2024: Importance of Vitamin C in collagen formation. Here is an article which

(LONG POST BUT IMPORTANT) 1 1/2 year of symptoms, getting worse
I know I have done a post already but I just wanted to make another one because I need advice on the directions I should take, what I should say to my GP and other relevant information - If helped I would like to avoid having to wait 2-3 months for a useless referral which I have had to do about 5 times

Confused by what vitamins &/or supplements are best for COPD
I've been taking Vitamin d3 with k2(mk7) as suggested but I've been researching other vitamins as well, e.g. magnesium and supplements e.g. probiotics, and I've spent hours and hours surfing the net for best combinations and getting way too carried away with it all. Can I ask what combination of d3

Can phimosis come back?
I have recently been listed for a preputioplasty and i'm now wondering if the condition may return at some point, which will then require a full circumcision. Online documentation of the preputioplasty is scarce and lacking in detail. most posts of people praising the procedure are from immediately after

WARNING for dog owners - Vitamin D
I've just started taking Vitamin D3 high doses, and I know many on here will be on them. PLEASE KEEP THESE OUT OF REACH OF PETS!!! My Standard Poodle consumed about 45 x 5000IU capsules which my vet said would have been fatal or caused severe damage if I hadn't got him there so fast. They induced vomiting

Does my 3 year old have subclinical hypothyroidism based on this?
Went to GP with toddler as she is a terrible sleeper, constipated, bloated, very cranky/tired/angry, constant rash on chin/face and little hair growth. GP subscribed laxatives, multivitamins and steroid cream for the rash but also said yes to a blood test. (After twisting his arm.) Results came back

Hoping for advice - Possible RA?
Hello! Sorry is this is a bit lengthy. Just hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice or maybe recognise the symptoms that I have. I am a 24 year old female. I was referred by my GP to see a Rheumatologist in January. I am likely to get an appointment in May. Right now that feels like

Hi all. Today i have been discharged from the hospital as i refuse to take statins. I was blatantly told that their job is to prescribe medication and if i refuse to take it, they will refer me back to my gp who can monitor my cholesterol via blood tests. Fair enough but before they completely remove

Vitamin D3 Supplement Issue
I was told by my doctor to supplement D3 (5,000 IU), but when I do, my body starts feeling so weak, like I have no energy. It even happens on smaller doses too. I’ve tried several different brands, but all give me the same feeling. Any suggestions?
