Teva Liothyronine ingredients and side effects
I wondered have people noticed that the Teva T3 has the same side effects as their T4? I was recently given Teva t3 tablets by the pharmacy and have been having tummy problems for a while now and it seems to be getting worse. I’m trying to work out why. I’d read that the T3 didn’t have the same issues

5 Months in, tight around scar line & penis lost size
Hey All i have a few problems that are really getting to me. I'm quite a grower and when i'm fully erect it gets tight like i have a rubber band around my penis around the scarline? Will this go over time? Also it feels like i've lost size similar to a few other posts, leaving the penis slightly buried

Palpitations after Metavive 1
Morning, I had a hemithyroidectomy in November last year and in late December I started taking Metvive 1. I started with 1 tablet a day and, after 6 weeks and blood tests, went up to 2 tablets. I take 1 before breakfast and 1 before bed, that was about 8-10 weeks ago. Up till a few days ago I’ve felt

4 months post-circ: soreness around scar-line
I’m nearly four months post-circ. Healing relatively well but I experience a lot of soreness at the top of the shaft, below head, around the scar line. I’ve had issues with the scar feeling tight - I’ve been using bio oil twice a day and steroid cream once a day on it. There is some progress. I still

Trying to get for with COPD and hypothyroidism
I've read an article saying that hypothyroidism causes more exacerbations of COPD than those that are euthyroid and I have been trying to get some exercise most days but my depression and anxiety make it extremely difficult to get motivated and when I do some exercise, I feel wiped out afterwards and

Vitamin D deficiency
Hi all, I hope you are all staying safe and keeping well. I recently went to the Falls and Syncope clinic and part of the process was blood tests. Apparently I am deficient in vitamin D which is no great surprise. I have to avoid the sun as much as possible as I have a skin condition shortened to DSAP

Endometrial Cancer- 8 months remission-after 4 years trying
Hi friends, As we all worry and deal with covid-19 pandemic, I thought it would be good to share some success I have been having, mostly because I never expected this much success...even though I remain open to the idea that my cancer can recur. I am in remission about 8 months! My doc always said he

Sun-sensitive rashes
Hi please can anyone help me!! I have only got the rashes on my face from the sun even wearing a hat and I am always covered body wise. I’ve only been in the garden with the kids for small amount of time under shade or the parasol. But seriously my face looks so bad it’s embarrassing. I rang and sent

B12 and Vitamin D3 supplements
I have a low Vitamin D count (38 I think) and I also have a B12 deficiency. I use to get a regular B12 injection every 3 months (coming up next week) but have been worrying about whether it can interfere with my drugs and current condition. B12 especially I need as I collapsed in the past due to symptoms

Painful tight white line after Frenuloplasty (4 months on)
I've been searching the web for a while looking for answers to this. I had yet to find anything useful until I came across this website, so I thought I'd give it a go here. Any advice would be useful. I met with a Urologist back in November because I had an extremely tight frenulum and wanted it solved

Update
Not sure if I should have started a new Post or continued my previous one - sorry! And double sorry - because it's lengthy. I duly attended my appointment with the Emergency Nurse Practitioner, all guns blazing and ready for battle. I politely requested a 25mcg increase in Levothyroxine - to be told

Advice for a guy with breathlessness and burping
hi all. I have posted on here before and received terrific answers. People asked for test results for certain vitamins and hormones which I am now able to provide. I have a lot more than I am giving here so any specific questions, please do let me know and I will supply them. I am in hell. I can't breathe

Steroid Skin?
Since taking Seretide, I have developed very itchy, scaly & sore eczema type patches on my left hand and left leg. A bit of research shows that this could be caused by the steroids. I have been putting doctor prescribed Betnovate on, but a) it’s not helping and b) if caused by steroids it seems a bit

Almond milk and cloudy urine
Up to, say, one month ago I added a little bit of fructose to sweeten my coffee. Then, I substituted fructose with almond milk and liked it more. I noticed that my urine during the evening became cloudy. Not the entire day, but only during late evening. The other symptoms of UTI, like odor, frequency

Anyone find calcium tablets difficult to stomach?
Has anyone found that taking calcium tablets doesn’t agree with them? I started taking Accrete D3 on Monday, each film coated tablet contains cholecalciferol 400IU and calcium 600mg ( as calcium carbonate 1500mg) and I take 2 a day. The excipients are hydrogenated soya-bean oil and sucrose. I’ve felt
