Testosterone too high?
I recently had my quarterly PSA and T tests, following stopping 18 months of ADT (Orgovyx) in April of 2022. PSA continued to de undetectable (<0.01) and T was 761. The last quarterly T was 706. Having had an initial PC Dx of GL9, Stage 4, Decipher .76 (July 2019) should I be concerned that T is

High Testosterone Level Why?
Now I am compensated with very good bloods, no meds, and healthy. except my
testosterone
level . It is constantly high around 40 nmol or approx 1135 :ng/dl .( Has been higher ) I'm 62 male and as far as I know is way way above normal for my age. . Do I need to be worried about anything.

Test results advice please
I am late 40s, and am on HRT daily: oestrogen 5 pumps,
testosterone
1/8 packet; double cerelle ( progesterone ). I am absolutely shattered and feeling constantly unwell. I am struggling with everything - physically, mentally and emotionally. Here are my latest results.

Castration by Estrogen Patch
This plot shows a dramatic decrease in
testosterone
and PSA after starting estrogen patch therapy, indicating that transdermal estrogen (TDE) therapy effectively castrates men, and with fewer side effects than Lupron ADT.

Magnesium, zinc and calcium
Nearly a year after ADT and all clear with
testosterone
recovering well. Been advised by a fellow runner to try a supplement of magnesium, zinc and calcium. The Onco has no objections. Are there reasons no too? Thank you.

Testosterone back to normal
My MO granted a holiday about 6-7 weeks ago, and yesterday, I had my
testosterone
score. It is back to 312, which is above the number 250, which starts the “normal range”. Glad to be on the holiday, but not yet noticed much changes day to day.

Mortality Probability after first PSA rise vs non-castrate testosterone levels (low vs Normal)
Here's a plot from Atkins (2018) that shows the Percent risk of Prostate Cancer-specific Mortality versus time following a first PSA failure, for two different non-castrate
testosterone
levels (Low-T and Normal-T). The low
testosterone
levels are: median = 162, range = 120-236 ng/dL.

Post treatment post ADT time to PSMA test
I planning on ending adjuvant ADT therapy within a few months and am aware of the lasting effects on
testosterone
(will take 6-12 months for decent
testosterone
levels ..hopefully). While traditional CT scans and bone scans showed no Mets, I want to get a PSMA scan soon or sometime post treatment.

Removal of contralateral testicle
Now waiting two months and then check PSA and
Testosterone

Non metastasis castrate resistant
When you are on ADT and become Non metastatic Castrate resistant and your
testosterone
levels are below zero, what is the cancer feeding off to cause the PSA to still rise? Hoping for your replies so as to give me some understanding. Thank you.

T3 equivalent of NDT
He also asked for other tests: FSH 9.4, LH 2.8; Prolactin 190;
Testosterone
21.3; Cortisol 350. Do these results reveal a dodgy Pituatory Gland?

PSA vs Testosterone Nadir for CRPC and Non-CRPC
The takeaway is that Non-CRPC men can achieve a much lower PSA nadir than CRPC men, for the same level of
testosterone
nadir. This makes sense, because CRPC men are less responsive to ADT, by definition. https://oamjms.eu/index.php/mjms/article/view/9388

My prostate journey and testosterone side effects
PSA remains less then 0.04 ng/ml and my
testosterone
is now back in the normal range at 368 ng/dl. Now my question: can anyone share with me how long the side effects should last after
Testosterone
comes back into normal range?

another undetectable
PSA in again at undetectable which I am assuming means my
testosterone
is not recovering . No T result yet but 0.5 last month! Still on Apalutamide as a monotherapy but coming off that too is bouncing around my head.
