Castrate levels of Testosterone
My husband's
testosterone
level is 3nmol/L (86.5 ng/100ml). In the past year, his levels have ranged between 2-8 nmol/L. He's on quarterly Zoladex. I understand that castrate levels are ideally < 20 ng/100ml. If I understand correctly, his
testosterone
should be much lower.

Old Guy Update
My PSA at that time was undetectable and my
Testosterone
was also undetectable. It’s now July 2024, and my PSA is 0.2 and my
Testosterone
is 10. I have no recognizable symptoms of PCa, no blood in urine, no pain, no incontinence, but occasional urgency to urinate.

Month 5 of ORGOVYX
After radical prostatectomy and radiation treatment, I’m now on ORGOVYX and my
testosterone
has decreased from 672 to 11. I’ll be coming off the medication in one month. If anyone has used ORGOVYX, do you stop cold turkey or is there a tapering off of the drug? Thank you.

Testosterone replacement therapy while having Paroxysmal AFib.
I’m really thinking about starting
testosterone
replacement therapy injections, due to low levels and having lots of low level symptoms. I’m trying to see if any members here have been on
testosterone
replacement therapy and have you seen any changes in AFib episodes?

Return of Armpit Odor - Yikes!!!
Could the return of odor suggest the return of
testosterone
? I'm actually "very concerned" . . .

PSA vs Testosterone plot has large scatter, but still confirms Morgentaler's Saturation Model.
The are three key takeaways: (1) Below about T = 100 ng/dL there is a linear relationship between PSA and
testosterone
, meaning, for example, that a 50% drop in
testosterone
implies that there will be a similar 50% drop in PSA (all other factors being equal).

Hypogonadism, heat flushing, and testosterone replacement
Hi all, It is almost a year since I had my external beam radiation for Gleason 7 (3+4) PCa (see my profile). So far so good: 4 PSA tests were reassuringly low. I am now almost 82 and I am hoping to deal with my strange heat-flushing problem, which I have had for several years. It predates my cancer

new drugs
Testosterone
and PSA gradually came back. Started on new meds, Orgovix and Erleada (without prednisone) last month (April 2024). These are extremely powerful drugs. My PSA and
testosterone
dropped precipitously after only one month. But the side effects are brutal. Real serious fatigue.

What testosterone test should I get in my final blood test prior to HT starting?
When it comes to getting
testosterone

Testosterone
Free/Total + SHBG 2:
Testosterone
Total 3:
Testosterone
Total by LCMS Each of the above are priced differently.

BILLY NEEDS HELP
The Pet 18 scan showed cancer has spread, including left shoulder, pelvic etc. to the extent where the radiation oncologist says there is no point as to many areas, so wanted me back on lupron etc. until I can get three or four months of low
testosterone
to match the increase in psa.
