Watching and waiting
Testosterone
level went from 14 to 117. The doctor reassured us that it’s good that his
testosterone
level is going back to normal however, didn’t we do the ADT to keep that from happening? Should we be concerned. And is there anything else we should do other than wait for another six months?

Testosterone too high?
I recently had my quarterly PSA and T tests, following stopping 18 months of ADT (Orgovyx) in April of 2022. PSA continued to de undetectable (<0.01) and T was 761. The last quarterly T was 706. Having had an initial PC Dx of GL9, Stage 4, Decipher .76 (July 2019) should I be concerned that T is

Prostrate Cancer treatment ADT
This stops
testosterone
production. Had a bone scan and found I have osteopenia. I am taking a calcium citrate with vitamin D. Also once per week Alendronate 70mg. Has anyone else been in the same boat? Thanks

PSA vs Testosterone plot has large scatter, but still confirms Morgentaler's Saturation Model.
The are three key takeaways: (1) Below about T = 100 ng/dL there is a linear relationship between PSA and
testosterone
, meaning, for example, that a 50% drop in
testosterone
implies that there will be a similar 50% drop in PSA (all other factors being equal).

Month 5 of ORGOVYX
After radical prostatectomy and radiation treatment, I’m now on ORGOVYX and my
testosterone
has decreased from 672 to 11. I’ll be coming off the medication in one month. If anyone has used ORGOVYX, do you stop cold turkey or is there a tapering off of the drug? Thank you.

Post treatment post ADT time to PSMA test
I planning on ending adjuvant ADT therapy within a few months and am aware of the lasting effects on
testosterone
(will take 6-12 months for decent
testosterone
levels ..hopefully). While traditional CT scans and bone scans showed no Mets, I want to get a PSMA scan soon or sometime post treatment.

High Testosterone Level Why?
Now I am compensated with very good bloods, no meds, and healthy. except my
testosterone
level . It is constantly high around 40 nmol or approx 1135 :ng/dl .( Has been higher ) I'm 62 male and as far as I know is way way above normal for my age. . Do I need to be worried about anything.

Castration by Estrogen Patch
This plot shows a dramatic decrease in
testosterone
and PSA after starting estrogen patch therapy, indicating that transdermal estrogen (TDE) therapy effectively castrates men, and with fewer side effects than Lupron ADT.

Testosterone back to normal
My MO granted a holiday about 6-7 weeks ago, and yesterday, I had my
testosterone
score. It is back to 312, which is above the number 250, which starts the “normal range”. Glad to be on the holiday, but not yet noticed much changes day to day.

Magnesium, zinc and calcium
Nearly a year after ADT and all clear with
testosterone
recovering well. Been advised by a fellow runner to try a supplement of magnesium, zinc and calcium. The Onco has no objections. Are there reasons no too? Thank you.

Eligard (Lupron) vs. Zoladex
The PSA went down from 2.25 to 0.18, and
Testosterone
went down to 23 from 1080. Why Eilgard not works and Zoladex work??? The are same drug which removes testosteron????? I thought Zoladex is used for women and Lupron works for men? is that not true????

Mortality Probability after first PSA rise vs non-castrate testosterone levels (low vs Normal)
Here's a plot from Atkins (2018) that shows the Percent risk of Prostate Cancer-specific Mortality versus time following a first PSA failure, for two different non-castrate
testosterone
levels (Low-T and Normal-T). The low
testosterone
levels are: median = 162, range = 120-236 ng/dL.

Casodex - stop or continue ?
I thought casodex is given to prevent the
testosterone
flare as it helps reduce
testosterone
but I see some comments on this forum saying it can over time turn into feeding the cancer ???? Any thoughts or experiences on this ?
