Docetaxel Chemo: What Helped Me…
Your skin is going to get more dried out from the chemo as well as from the lack of
testosterone
from the Lupron shots (skin oil production goes down). Use good moisturizer twice a day and SPF 50 sunscreen on your face.

Microbiomes of Urine and the Prostate Are Linked to Human Prostate Cancer Risk Groups

Last lupron
So my next
testosterone
and PSA check is scheduled on July 14. Is this too long? When will lupron clear and
testosterone
return. Is the PC just taking a nap and learning how to make its own
testosterone
.

Blood test help
Someone on here has previously said I should test my
Testosterone
0.7 (0.5-1.9) DHEA-S 2.4 (1.5-7.7) With previous saliva tests this has been very bottom/below range, although it says DHEA and not DHEA-S. Cortisol 237 taken in an afternoon, not 9am. This has previously been around 220 at 9am.

Intimacy during Prostate cancer treatment
My husband is paranoid about going to the gym and being intimate as he thinks it will raise
testosterone
levels and advance cancer cells. I can’t find anything specifically about my question. Are these things ok during Prostate treatment? I want to reassure my partner about the facts on it all.

New Data: Finasteride Safely Prevents Prostate Cancer'These Results Are Transformational,' Says Researcher May 20, 2018
Two common androgens are
testosterone
and the more powerful dihydrotestosterone (DHT). 2. Men deficient in an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase type 2 don’t develop an enlarged prostate (also called benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH) or prostate cancer.

Erectile Dysfunction
Said it's often a psycholgoical thing that after a while maybe a few months will sort itself out. having blood tests to check
testosterone
levels soon. Hope this is helpful to anyone going through a similar thing.

Hmm...Why the endless ads for testosterone boosters!?🤔
I tapered off Zytiga and prednisone exactly 1 year ago ( off Lupron 2.5) and my T is slowly increasing. I've never thought of using a synthetic supplement to hasten the process. Assuming that T is or might be a causative factor for APC, why would otherwise healthy men take and sellers push this product

Monitor PSA's and
Testosterone
levels in three months or sooner if "clinical symptoms" rise. Will more than likely repeat PSMA -PET Scan and switch to Xtandi or Chemotherapy.

Off-Off-Topic. Estrogen:Androgen Ratio.
In addition, men with low
testosterone
had a poorer prognosis. It seemed that
testosterone
at high-normal levels could continue to regulate growth, while
testosterone
at low levels was growth-permissive, depending on the ERalpha:ERbeta situation.

Progesterone Receptor.
Abiraterone inhibits the enzyme that converts those hormones into downstream androgens such as DHEA,
testosterone
[T] & DHT. This presumable leads to higher than normal levels of pregnenolone & progesterone. Does that matter? The new study claims that progesterone is indeed bad for PCa patients.

Guillain-Barré Syndrome after PCa Diagnosis... Anyone?
Older males, with much lower
testosterone
, produce enough protective antibodies within two weeks.
Testosterone
dampens the immune response. Women have a much stronger immune response than men. The downside is that they are more likely to develop an autoimmune disease.

Sex drive
I had a high sex drive being surrounded by a high
testosterone
environment (I feel like I’m going to answer my own question just by writing all this on here). At 18 I entered into a serious relationship but this was in the months leading up to my deployment to iraq.

Any guys have erection problems in 30s?
I have had blood tests and
testosterone
is all ok. I am on anti depressants, I have been drinking more lately and don’t really exercise besides walking. Could this be physical or mental? I do worry how I will perform because of this issue. What can I do? Thanks

Ritalin and or Adderall
I had a very tough time with no
testosterone
(11ng/dl) for about 4 years. I became very apathetic with no desire to do anything. I couldn’t focus on anything long enough to accomplish the task. I was put on Androgel daily about 2.5 years ago.

Blood test results
I'm on combo treatment of T3 and T4 and 11 weeks ago also added in Clomifene for low
Testosterone
(I'm male BTW). Things were going well at my last bloods, however things seem to be going a little backward and my weight has gone up slightly which seems to be impacting levels of Thyroid hormone.
