My fangs need filing again, hypo thyroidism and hand washing five tons of bed linen don't go together!
'He' has been making lots of really helpful suggestions about how I could run the house without doing so many things when tired. This has come about as I needed to by an essential item. One solution, we could, or rather I could do less washing and we could all wear less clothes. Although this does

Foam roller newbie - help!
Hoping for some guidance here as I'm a bit bewildered by different approaches I've found online - was about to embark on w7, but the ongoing stiffness/tightness in my calves wouldn't go away and I'm scared if It's not sorted it might develop into
tendonitis
(which I've had before).

Does anyone know where I can get Palexia tablets in the UK from?
This pill I have researched and have found that it has an 80% success in chronic pain patients. However, this is not available on the NHS yet as it hasn't been rubber stamped. I even tried to get into the trial stage, however they said I'm on too high a OxyContin to take me on trial. This is about the

Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is it a heart or lung problem or both?
I got my letter to my doctor from the Lung consultant at the hospital today. I now have an extra ailment to add! Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: It appears that it should be 25mmHg but mine is 37 to 42 mmHg and his comments are " This could be one of the reasons I am out of breath?" I apparently

This is something else aparently I have, Its a very painful heel and feet. I've been told I have to wear a splint for two hours a day. Supplied by the NHS. Anyone else have one of these splints? they look very uncomfortable. I have so many symptoms - I must be costing the NHS a fortune. At least

Does anyone else continuously suffer from tendonitis or bursitis in more than one area of their body?
Over the last few years I have had a lot of episodes of
tendonitis
in my shoulders and received physio for this. I understand that
tendonitis
does wax and wane. However, I have now developed a painful elbow which I think could be
tendonitis
or something similar.

W6r3 Posterior Tibial tendonitis???? Gutted!!!!
Rapidly googled the symptoms which threw up posterior tibial
tendonitis
- I have mild over pronation (wear stability trainers) and weak calves so am apparently susceptible to injuries like this.

Who manages your pain?
My rheumatologist administered steroid injections into SI joints and also hip bursar as I had
tendonitis
and bursitis, and he referred me to a hip expert for surgery when he realised there was something more than muscular going on in my hip.

Is glucosamine safe?
Iv`e been taking glucosamine sulphate for about a month to try & get rid of
tendonitis
in my wrists & shoulders, & I read yesterday that this type of supplement causes osteoporosis. Does anyone on this site know if this is true?

Tendonitis and Pred
Does Pred cause
tendonitis
? I had not heard that until reading Annodomini's post today, if I understood it correctly. I wonder if that is the cause of a pain in my thigh and hip and just under my buttock which I have had for a while. The doc just says take pain killers.

SPEED ....
This was my first post grad run and, in many ways, my least succesful to date. First I got stopped during my warm up run about an 'important matter' which meant my first sprint was up a v.steep hill. No I didn't! But it threw me a bit really. I found it really hard to complete the 60secs fast and then

Fighting a Flare!
Today I had an appointment with the GP who does steroid injections because I also have osteoarthritis and
tendonitis
. He reviewed my blood test record and noted that my CRP had never gone right down to a normal level, except after the initial dose of 20mg of pred.
