Thyroid tests
I have Graves disease since 2007 and had thyroidectomy in 2019. I have felt fine for the last 4 years on levothyroxine (75mcg Monday to Saturday, 50mcg on Sundays). I've recently developed digestive issues with some indigestion and morning diarrhea or loose stool at best. Had FIT test which was negative

Hashimoto to Graves
Hi All, I have been lurking as a member for >8years following a diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I have been managed with varying doses of levothyroxine, follow a gluten-free diet and supplement with B12, Fe and Vit D oral sprays. Having gained weight during Covid, I decided to make a conscious

Thyroid Test Help
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) in 2017. Hashimoto's runs in my family. I think my primary doctor originally prescribed 50 mcg levothyroxine and when I got in to see an endocrinologist he upped this to 125 mcg and after a few months dropped it down to 75 mcg. I took 75 mcg daily for

Am I hypothyroid?
I’m looking for some guidance/information as I haven’t been able to get much clarity from my GP and endocrinologist. I started having all the usual hypo symptoms about 2 years ago; feeling cold, fatigued, weight gain, low moods, brittle hair and nails, skin itching, night sweats, tinnitus, aching joints

Teva levothyroxine
Is there anyone that takes the Teva brand of levo finding it difficult to get hold of the 25mcg? I’ve just been given an increase from 100mcg to 125mcg and I can’t find a pharmacy anywhere that stocks the 25. Really don’t want to have to switch brands as I’ve been on this brand only for two years.

RLS and menopause
Hey ladies! I’m suffering with menopause. What can I take to get some relief that won’t exasperate my RLS. Currently, I take the lowest dose of pramipexole and it’s under control , along with a probiotic, and krill oil. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Headaches - just started a week ago - is it hypo related
Last Thursday I developed a really bad headache - I was at a wedding and the music was loud and I blamed that (I don't drink so it's not related to that). The headache has never left - I have had it every day since although not just as bad. I believe I have Hashimotos although never diagnosed - just

Hormonal Acne - Something finally worked for me!
Hi everyone! I'll try keep this as short as possible. I suffered from acne pretty badly around the age of 11 for a few years, took Roaccutane, it cleared up, medication did it's job. Fast forward to now, I'm 30 ish, lovely basic good quality skincare, no smoking, alcohol, good diet (or so I thought

Paleontology Diet – By Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield
Excerpt from the transcript of a talk given by the late Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield at one of TPA's Annual Conferences several years ago.
I'm posting this here because we've recently had a few questions/posts about extreme diets such as the carnivor diet. Personally, I think what Dr Peatfield

Test Result Guidance Please 🙏
To the wise oricles and sages in the group, please could you guide me with my Atrophic Autoimmune Thyroiditis. Despite waiting soooo long to get a private test result, I had been preparing myself for "within range" results. (How sad is that?) I know I probably should be happier with the results, but

change in IBS symptoms
Hi I am totally confused and a bit bewildered. So I have had IBS with terrible bouts of diarrhoea for over three years. During which time I definitely had trigger foods which made it a lot worse. Going on a gluten free diet seemed to help slightly as did a fructan free diet. Also low fodmap. But didn
