Teva levothyroxine

Is there anyone that takes the Teva brand of levo finding it difficult to get hold of the 25mcg? I’ve just been given an increase from 100mcg to 125mcg and I can’t find a pharmacy anywhere that stocks the 25. Really don’t want to have to switch brands as I’ve been on this brand only for two years.

If you can't get 25s and want to stick to Teva, ask if your prescription can be changed to give you 50mcg dose tablets instead of the 25s and you can cut in half or take alternate days.

why didn’t I think of that? Thank you, I will give that a try. The pharmacist is already fed up of me anyway!

I suggest you contact Teva UK directly and ask what is happening.

(A Teva medicine I want has already been unavailable for over a year. And there is no equivalent in the UK. They are currently saying:

are you still having difficulties? I take 125mcg and can’t get 25mcg, but I have persuaded my doctor to prescribe 50mcg and I half them.
