How long have I had diabetes?
For years I have had the "problem" of needing to get up to go to the toilet and pee several times during the night most nights, but never during the day till recedntly. Now it is the same 24 7, and very often I feel the urge but if I go nothing happens. A month ago I told my surgery and they did a urine

Worried
Yet another long winded stressed out post by yours truly...... Rheumy stopped my mtx 3 weeks ago when they found an infection while testing my bone marrow protein in a urine sample. I had no symptoms at the time. Lab tests showed the bug to be nitrofurantoin sensitive so was prescribed that antibiotic

High Calcium level in 24 hr urine test
Has anyone had this test done? My level was 326 mg with a range of 35-250. I looked up possible causes which are hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, paget's disease, kidney stones and various others including kidney issues. I also had high pth and low vitamin d with high normal calcium on my last blood

Mr
My first indication of anything wrong was difficulty to pee so GP urine test showed slight blood trace - Cystoscopy results showed aggressive bladder cancer. Advised to have bladder removed - I went with BCG route and subsequent cystoscopies showed no further cancer. Now cancer returned as superficial

Can't eat and trapped gas at night.
I'm having a terrible time at the moment. Currently I can only eat small meals (a bowl of cereal in the morning, a snack or two for lunch then half a wrap or 1/3 of a cooked meal for tea). I don't eat after 6pm, but at night around 1-2am I wake up with very bad nausea, feeling really hot and what feels

Confused about results low T4, low T3 but normal ratio.
Hi everyone I am new here so please bear with me. I basically have been feeling very unwell for quite a few years now and had a thyroid function test via the nhs back in 2008. Underactive thyroid runs in my family down The female line luckily for me. The results came back normal but the symptoms continued

It's taken four years but bloods finally showing something! Should I bother with GP?
Hello all. It has been a while since I posted as I have sort of been ticking along since seeing Dr P just over 18 months ago and taking Nutri Thyroid (urine test showed low T4 though T3 okay - but all bloods including TSH have always always been 'in range'). I haven't ever been fully okay but probably

CAN WE GIVE UP DIABETIC MEDICATION ALL TOGETHER AFTER CHANGE TO LCHF?
Since Year 2000 being a Type- 2, I was on [a] Diamicrone-80,
Aspirin, [c] Statins, [d] Losacar 25 and [e] Vitamin E. I changed to LCHF on my own and my doctor a US educated endocrinologist seeing my exceptionally good result in years in my lab report was highly surprised! However, when I disclosed

Allergy clinic test results
My daughter has been consulting a doctor at a private allergy clinic. Her Genova complete parasitology stool test results have come back and she has a parasitic infection called Dientamoeba Fragilis and little or no beneficial Lactobacillus or Bifidobacteria. This parasite apparently causes malabsorption
