Newly diagnosed Inflammatory Arthritis
Hi everyone, I have posted on here before whilst needing advice for my systemic joint pain and inflammation. I have since been given a blanket diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis due to my consistent symptoms and MRI showing bilateral effusion in a number of joints. I haven’t had recent blood tests

Sero-negative arthritis
Morning hope everyone is well. Just wanted to ask a quick question, does anyone on this forum have sero-negative arthritis and normal bloods? I was diagnosed with sero-negative arthritis in January even though from September 2019 the consultant was unsure what it was and I underwent regular blood tests

How do you get your head around the fact you have RA?
Second rheumatology consultation today and I've been told I have sero neg inflammatory arthritis. I thought maybe I could have anykolysing spondylitis (spelling?) But Dr thinks RA. I knew if my symptoms didn't go away after a course of steroids I would have to start on sulphazalazine (again sorry spelling

Looking for rheumatologist leads in the U.S. (especially within 100 miles of zip code 12583)
I realize this is a UK-based forum, but I see there are some folks here who are U.S.-based like myself. I'm looking for leads for good U.S. rheumatologists. I had an 11-month run of prednisone that was a straight-downwards taper despite return of symptoms, contrary to what I've since learned from

Orencia - Infusion or Self-Injection
Hi, I’m a newbie with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My Rheumatologist wants me to stop Plaquenil and go on a biologic. She suggests Orencia. Would appreciate hearing from fellow RA warriors who have taken Orencia (or other biologic) and if so, in what form - infusion or injection. Advice, please! Thanks!

An update on my tocilizumab experience.
Hello Everyone, from Downunder, I have now had my 12th jab of tocilizumab and my inflammatory markers have reduced to “normal” levels. I feel strong, full of energy and mentally positive for the first time in some months. My pred is down to 6.5mgs, Rheumatologist thinks I could reduce more rapidly,

Hi everyone
Was just wondering if you can take pregnenolone as this is supposed to help with arthritis or DHEA whilst on thyroxine. I am menopausal at the moment and read that these are the natural way and can help instead of HRT
