Making rls manageable, a continuing story
I have had quite bad rls for the last two years and over time, very little sleep. However I have tried to persevere without drugs, although my GP has prescribed low dose codeine (15mg) which helped at first but I now try not to take. My rls is currently much better. It hasn’t gone away but it’s sort

The Role Of Bile Acids In Prostate Cancer
Bile acids (BAs) belong to cholesterol-derived sterols. Due to the side chain carboxyl group and hydroxylation of their steroid ring they are more polar than cholesterol. They have an amphipatic character for which they are known as natural detergents. Majority of cholesterol is excreted by bile acids

Mpa and HPV vaccine
Has anyone diagnosed with microscopic polyangitis received the HPV vaccine? My daughter has microscopic polyangitis and should get the vaccine? Do you have a similar experience?

Lithium Orotate for Depression and more?
Lithium Orotate for Depression and more? So I was watching this video on lithium orotate (still looking to get past my depression) and was amazed at the way he says lithium works in the brain. Lithium clears glutamate? Anybody up for lowering inflammation? Boosting neuroplasticity? And then he starts

The Neuroendocrine Connection
Adrenal hormones, sex hormones, and neurotransmitters are functionally interrelated. Changes in sex hormones and adrenal hormones can lead to neurotransmitter imbalances. In turn, neurotransmitter imbalances can affect hormone function. The following tests are recommended to establish your baseline.

Which jab next?
Does anyone have experience or reservations about Covid vaccines and AF? I've had 2 Astrazeneca doses, followed by a Moderna booster. Now, I'm eligible for a fourth dose, plus my flu jab, but I've have heard anecdotally that a second Moderna dose might not be so good for AF patients. The side effect

Magnesium and Warfarin
Just a quick post. With magnesium being championed as the mineral of choice for us afibers, I was shocked to see that magnesium contraindicates with warfarin and can increase the risk of bleeding? Interestingly I’ve noticed my INR has fallen not risen since taking magnesium? Then again I take taurine

Flu Vaccine or not?
I am not new to this site - I read it most days, but this is the first time I have posted on it. I was diagnosed with PD 17 years ago and have always been told not to have the yearly flu vaccine. The Doctors in New Zealand are saying that the flu will strike us even worse than omicron/ delta. Does

Nervous surgeon etc
In June 1951 I was doing School Certificate exams, meanwhile my mother age 51 had a hysterectomy operation. Afternoon, day of the op hospital rang school to say that her heart was failing and I should get to hospital as soon as possible. Fortunately I had enough pocket money for the two bus fares.

Recently Diagnosed with RA and would like advice on taking Methotrexate.
Hi all, This is my first post here as I have just been diagnosed with RA after the first signs started the day of my first flu vaccine and then in force the day after receiving the booster vaccine (Moderna) just before Christmas. The consultant thinks there is a good chance these either brought it on

PMR after Flu Vaccination
I'm new here, just joining this week, I'm 70 years old. I developed PMR in 2020 after my first FLU vaccination in 44 years, I had the Swine FLU vaccination in 1976 which also made me very sick. Has anyone else experienced this? In 1976 very few virus strains, in 2020 multiple virus strains in the vaccination

My Latest Stack: Anybody want to deep dive on protocols?
So this is my latest stack. I think I have a good list now. Now it is time to fine tune it. Get the dosages and timing right. Will any of it help? I hope so. I have not been diagnosed with PD. I have been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (with other troubling symptoms). I still have a sore
