A few months ago I posted about the difficulties I was having post oesophagectomy
surgery
last November and the discomfort I felt every day as I ate anything.

Severe hepatic steatosis
I had recent
surgery
(unrelated) and have had some bothersome symptoms since that prompted the scan (particularly pain just below my ribs on the right) so it was the consultant that ordered the test but I'm not due to see her for weeks.

Gastric endo - help!
I have extensive disease requiring
surgery
, thought to be bowel involvement. MRI due in the next week. I’ve been having dreadful constipation the last few weeks requiring manual evacuation (sorry TMI but it has been awful).

Headaches post Gamma knife surgery
6 weeks of headaches on the side of the tumour and they’ve been getting worse. I’m due to see the original ENT consultant on Wednesday next week but and ideas why now? It’s over 12 months since the Gamma knife and possibly due to Eustachian tube disfunction. The pain is sometimes sharp and intense

Do I need an Oncologist?
I was not interested in
Surgery
so the Urologist referred me to a Radiation Oncologist. After the radiation treatments were over I went back to the Urologist to continue the Lupron treatments.

Seasons Greetings from MichaelJH
The approaching two years as I waited for revision
surgery
did my quads no favours and I am still struggling to regain full strength. However, on Thursday I dis walk about 20 yards with just two sticks. iii) Phantom pain.

Asthma Annual GP Review
This morning I received a letter from my
Surgery
asking me to complete the enclosed Asthma Diary (sadly, one wasn’t enclosed) so that they could see the ‘patter’ of my peak flows. I have now sent them the information online as last year my hand-submitted diary never reached my medical records.

Meant to be having the first blood test 2 weeks after the first dose, tried to book a blood test which should be around 13th March but was informed they can only do it at the end of the month....so it seems I am not going to be supported by the

Can surgery be refused due to a high BMI?
Hi everyone I’m on the waiting list for a gyno appointment to check for endo. I’ve read on here that sometimes MRI scans don’t show endo and you’ve got to have a larp. Am I right in thinking they won’t do a larp unless you’re in the healthy category for weight on the NHS BMI scale? I eat well but

Bowel resection with total hysterectomy
I have
surgery
planned in Feb/Mar to remove a section of bowel, then do the total hysterectomy and I’ll be left with a temporary stoma which will be reattached 3-6 months after the first op. I’d be keen to hear from anyone who may have had a similar procedure - what was recovery like?
