I had hip replacement
surgery
before I was diagnosed with CLL and now find myself facing replacement for the other hip. Anyone had this type
surgery
while on Ibrutinib?

Bowel Symptoms, Post Surgery 10 weeks, started pre-chemo and continuing/evolving
I guess really, I am concerned as my tumour was slightly stuck to the bowel (sigmoid colon) so what if in the 10 weeks between
surgery
and chemo starting something's grown and causing these symptoms?

However in January this year I had the worst plantar fascitis ever and fast found all my joints painful and the bleeding, diarrhea was worse so went to the GP wanting

to finally rid me of the issue. Stool calprotectin was in 150 with crp and esr raised.

If anyone has found anything that helps them or had
surgery
for this condition would be interested to hear. Feel like I’m just holding on, chronic pain just eats away at you slowly…

No running for me for 2 weeks 😭😭
After some oral
surgery
today I’ve been advised not to run for at least 2 weeks. I’ve just got to w6r3 so will have to go back a few weeks when I get back into it. 😢. O well fingers crossed 🤞 I’ll manage a run in time for Christmas 🧑🎄🧑🎄

Gastric endo - help!
I have extensive disease requiring
surgery
, thought to be bowel involvement. MRI due in the next week. I’ve been having dreadful constipation the last few weeks requiring manual evacuation (sorry TMI but it has been awful).

liver concerns
I had clear cell ovarian cancer and had debulking
surgery
and hysterectomy a year ago. I recently had sudden right side and back pain and had a scan with blood work. Everything came out ok except my liver numbers (ast and alt) were super high. Could this indicate the start of a reoccurrence?

feeling alone
I have a very rare heart condition and require open heart
surgery
very soon. It’s all come as a big shock as I didn’t know I had one. I don’t feel typical feelings of anger or worry etc. I feel really lonely.

Wondering if I should get a Partial Thyroidectomy?
My
surgery
is in a few days and I’m just nervous I’m removing a part of my body that could be fine. Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated. Did anyone regret their partial thyroidectomy? Thank you in advance for any advice you have to offer, I’m not sure what to do :(

Prostate-as-"PCa Factory" - Reasons for Removal?
This was the thinking of my doctors who saved me from
surgery
and radiation - apparently there would be no upside with prostate removal in terms of suppressing cancer - and there would be a lot of downsides.

Possible Adrenal Insuffiency
It’s hard for me to tell as I had major bowel
surgery
in 2012 and have had seven adhesive bowel obstructions with similar symptoms - but it normally progresses more quickly and the pain and vomiting are much worse.
