Wound healing and Steroid Use
I had
surgery
last week and I am feeling its effects longer and worse than I should. I'm wondering if I am going to take longer to heal because of the steroids and if there is anything I can do to speed things up! My body has always come through for me.

Triple Heart Bypass
That same headache is now evident even after
surgery
and it is getting me down that I will not fully recover. One other thing is if I turn or move a bit faster than the slow pace I am doing at the moment I get very dizzy and it is quite frightening.

Cataract after Preserflo treatment
I'm 4 months after glaucoma
surgery
/ preseflo, I still have blurred vision - today I was diagnosed with a cataract on the operated eye and also retinal swelling. Does anyone have experience with such a case - how to treat it (cataract
surgery
will help).

Bronchiectasis and unrelated antibiotics
Yesterday I had dental
surgery
to extract a molar because it was fractured ( could that be due to many many events with prednison???), and now I am on antibiotics amoxicilin. Dentist says 6 days or so.

post surgery bleeding. Does it ever stop?!?
I had my
surgery
on 6th October to remove endo and I haven’t stopped bleeding since. It’s really getting me down. It slows but it never goes. It’s really starting to impact on my mental health and I’m still experiencing pain.

Tomorrow I get my Cardiac CT Results
In patients with established coronary artery disease, we quantified the whole-vessel 18F-sodium fluoride positron emission tomography (18F-NaF PET) coronary microcalcification activity (CMA) and change in calcium scores to compare disease activity and progression in those with and without CABG

Does this look like lupus rash?
I’m going crazy wondering what it is and it’s got at least 2 GP’s confused at my
surgery
. Any idea’s would be appreciated but I’m not going to change the current “treatment” before I speak to GP again. Thank you.

Salbutamol Inhaler not used as a reliever anymore?
Hi Yesterday I had my yearly Asthma review with the nurse from our
surgery
which quite frankly was a waste of my time.

going toilet after laparoscopy
I had my diagnostic and excision
surgery
earlier today and they have found and removed endo tissue. I have been home for around 2 hours now and I was wondering if anyone had any issues with going toilet at all straight after?

Various Questions
The first 2 of those weeks I was in hospital having
surgery
for something else and recovering with opioid painkillers which removed the need for anything else. The 3rd week I started gabapentin but I don't have the levels right yet as I am having some break through feelings of RLS.

Severe hepatic steatosis
I had recent
surgery
(unrelated) and have had some bothersome symptoms since that prompted the scan (particularly pain just below my ribs on the right) so it was the consultant that ordered the test but I'm not due to see her for weeks.

New blood results
Graves confirmed again 57 years after
surgery
for it. Endo said that there's nothing can be done to reduce the antibodies and since my bloods are in range come back in 6 months. Meanwhile, I feel unwell. Still getting palpitations and losing weight.

a double bed with seperate mattresses?
we don't have room for a bigger bed, and I'm recuperating from
surgery
still and some other stuff: not likely to reduce my bed time significantly soon. the same will happen again even if I get us a new mattress, and we don't have the income for that, and I can't get the sleep I need.

Chemo question
Since my tumor is too large, I can’t have
surgery
yet. I had my first taxol/carboplatin treatment last week. I had an allergic reaction shortly after starting. Then on days 3-6 I had severe sharp pains in my bones in my back and legs that broke through my pain meds.
