I am so sorry to hear that your mum is poorly at the moment and struggling with her symptoms. I am no medical expert but can say that I have had multiple stomach /bowel issues since my diagnosis and surgery for adhesions, including hospital stays for obstructions. In my case it took a while for the bowel to settle after surgery so that can be the case. I would urge you to seek medical attention and advice for your mum if she is struggling. Sending love and hugs and hoping that she soon improves.
Vomiting bile is not normal. Please call her chemo team asap. If they can't help, call 111 and they can get her fast tracked to A & E.
she just came from hospital some days ago out, they said can be bile reflux after july chemo
I am so sorry that you are so scared. But I'm worried that you are passing this fear on to your mum. She needs to feel as confident as possible with her medical team while she is going through this horrible time. Am I wrong in assuming that English is not your first language. If this is true, then are you getting enough interpretation help? Understanding all of the information that the medical people give you is hard even when English is your first language. If you don't feel that your mum is getting enough support, you have the right to a 2nd or even 3rd opinion. I think if you feel confident with the treatment then she also might start to feel a bit better. Fear and stress can cause a lot of physical problems too but first they will have to work on her vomiting issues and make her more comfortable. I am sending lots of big hugs to you both. XXXX
So if she is having her treatment in Latvia then the language is not a problem. That is good. Some people do get sick from chemo but it usually settles down when the chemo stops. Some people get sick from issues related to the operation. That was me. Not exactly the same as your mum but I have had ongoing stomach issues for years that relate to the operations I have had. Keep talking to her medical team if her stomach issues do not settle down soon. Try to keep calm. You need to stay strong for her. And make sure that you are getting the support you need too. It is a hard job taking care of the people yo love. xx
Dear Inguc_is , I never had such experience.Hope your mother gets well soon.Sending you good vibes and warm regards.
