Anyone else find they catch every bug they hear about and seem to get it worse than everyone else?
I've been to the drs and she thinks it's
strep
throat
which is apparently really painful. I can't even eat, it hurts to swallow even my own saliva! I've slept for 16 hours a day since Saturday and now my back is playing up again.

Cytomel?
I've heard that Cytomel is an excellent supplement to take with NDT to help with your T3 levels. I'm taking 5 grains of nature throid a day (I have no thyroid at all and have been upping my dose until I feel somewhat normal) I take three in the morning one at lunch and one before bed. How much Cytomel

Armour or Erfa?
I have been on Armour and Erfa alternatively for the past year. I was first put on Armour, as my doctor said she did not know of anyone having problems with the reformulated Armour. I was prescribed 15, 30, 60, 90 and 120 mg pills and gradually worked my way up to 300 mg daily. I felt great at that dosage

Oral thrush/hoarse voice
Hi everyone, I have kept my daughter on 3 or 4 puffs morning & night of her flixotide preventer since the week before Christmas. Compared to her usual bouts (which were every other week and horrendous!), she sailed through a cold mid Jan, and *touch wood* has been quite even-keeled since Christmas.

Tonsillitis and asthma
Hello, My 5 year old has tonsillitis, ear infection, cold and asthma flair up. Seems to get all at the same time, this one is particularly nasty. Does removing tonsils help? So much responsibility with meds etc really feel useless and overwhelmed!

I'm Confused!
I've was diagnosed 5 years ago as borderline hypothyroid because my TSH varies between 4.1 and the highest it's been is 8.35. My endocrinologist is one who sticks rigidly to the new NHS Guidelines "You haven't even got a thyroid problem unless your TSH is over 10" I have blogged on this site before and

Why do people crush Armour before taking?
This is something I have heard that people do and I just wondered why. Should everyone be crushing their Armour? Does this also apply to other NDTs such as Nature-throid? Thanks for any info :) Carolyn x
