NDT

Holiday in Qatar NDT or Levo?
Visiting relatives in Qatar for a week and wondered if I would be allowed to take my Nature throid. I do not have a prescription. Am thinking maybe I should go back on Levo for the week, although I was not converting. I was on 50mcg levo and now on 2 grains of nature throid. Should I increase the

Ferritin and TSH
Hi, I recently had my bloods done as I am having trouble conceiving and the only thing that showed up is that my Ferritin is low (8ug/l). My doctor said not to worry as I'm not anemic, but how is the best way to get this up? My TSH also came back at 0.05 and she said that I should lower my medication

How do you deal with Methotrexate side effects
I had to come off subcut methotrexate after four weeks because of the nausea, stomach issues and oral thrush. It was decided to rechallenge it and I took my second dose on Saturday. After my first injection last week I was very sick. This week still tummy cramps etc and now I have the oral thrush back

Sourcing NDT
Morning all, I hope you are all doing well? I have been taking Nature Throid after some wonderful info from here (sourced from the US without prescription) for the last year and feel like I've got my life back! - I am currently taking 2 grain per day, but staring to feel I may need a small increase.

Labwork normal... but I have swollen thyroid! What's going on? Hashimotos? Please help.
TSH 1.41 (No Ref Range listed) FreeT4 1.0 (Range 0.8-1.8) T3 Total 94 NG/dL (No ref range listed, but marked as normal) Last week I thought I might have
strep
throat
but had a painful lump, it's my thyroid. Swelling has gone down a bit and doesn't hurt nearly so much as it did thank goodness.

switching from levothyroxine to Nature throid
Itook levothyroxine for almost four years after having a complete thyroidectomy. Due to the constant symptoms of hypothyroidism I experienced no matter how often levo dose was increased or lowered ( ranging from 100mg to 175 ) in desperation I went to see a private endo who put me on Nature throid

Thrush in mouth! 😕
I am nearly at the end of a 2nd course of antibiotics and noticed in the last few days that I have a really nasty taste in my mouth. I put it down to a common side effect of clarithromycin but on closer inspection it looks like it could be thrush- something I have managed to avoid so far by brushing

Hey, I finally had a private blood test and I wondered if anyone could offer some thoughts. I know tsh (I've always done better below 1), ft4 and b12 are out of whack but what should I be aiming for? CRP 3.0 (<5.0) Ferritin 59.6 (20-150) Tsh 2.11 (0.27-4.20) T4 total 67.4 (64.5-142.0) Free t4 9.65 (12

Bad taste in my mouth
I have a bad taste in my mouth and when I blow my nose, there sometimes is a bit of blood. This all started a couple of weeks ago after a head cold. Could thus be related to acid reflux that I have off and on or could it be from the cold?
