just to let you know that I just switched to Nature-throid because of mainly the price. And I feel good. 3rd day. 1/2 a grain. Wonderful!

Reikimaster are you gluten free? I lost over a stone in 3 weeks when I cut that and dairy out.
Not gluten or dairy free. But I'm vegetarian. I follow slimming world too which isn't working. it's so frustrating 😶xx
Cut out gluten for a month I bet you see results!
I'm veggie, aside from NDT.
I find high fat, low carb has always seemed best for me.
I try to only eat sourdough bread, & in small quantities, but need to give that up!
Hi I did try the High fat diet unfortunately made me very ill. I couldn't get on with it. I think if the T3 was working well I wouldn't be in this predicament.

My GP suggested paleo, which would be hard as a veggie. I have felt better for cutting out processed things, including a lot of vegan foods I'd been eating.

I lost weight when I went back to eating dairy. I now have lots of lovely organic kefir! I'd no idea of the perils of soya milk!
Be careful with your exercise etc as 1/2 gr is around 50mcg of levothyroxine. Exercising if not on an optimum reduces our T3 and it is T3 which is the active hormone needed in all our T3 receptor cells. I wish you success on your new NDT.
No worries haha I've been running and racing most my adult life, I'm pretty optimized, actually I was on 1 grain a few years ago for some years, now to 1/2.

I tried it and it sent me a bit mental was better in ThyroidS and went back to it fast! I think it is NPWestthroid that has fewer fillers not naturethroid

I agree with you...the list of fillers and binders in Thyroid-S is incredibly long...I like Thyroid-S, and think it works well, but the long-term effects of all those fillers worry me a bit...I'm especially unhappy about the aluminium and don't see the need for that.
Is Naturethroid still hypoallergenic? STTM seems to think Naturethroid was reformulated much like Armour a few years back and has not worked the same since...glad to hear someone is doing so well on it, though, that just proves we are all different

Yes, I did need prescription. I wasn't diagnosed for 4 years until I diagnosed myself, went to doc, asked to be prescribed Armour, then he retired got other docs that never wanted to give me what I needed, so I started to self medicate after reading about hypothiroidism, until Armour got out of hand and asked my secret source to prescribe Nature-throid. To find this person it took me to go thru hell.

Not sure about angels, but the US seems amenable to exporting NDT. 
Pity the cost has been Trumped up so much!
