Vulva skin lesions
I have been having what a general practitioner called "vulvar dermatitis" since 2016. I'm not convinced of the treatment or the diagnosis. Let me explain. I have a history of autoimmune disease (Hashimoto, Rheumatoid Arthritis). I didn't find out until recently that Bechet's disease also runs in my

Undifferentiated connective tissue disease.
Meaning they still can not diagnose me as my bloods aren't showing what they need to be able to put me into a box so now it's still undifferentiated connective tissue disease and I have no clue now if I'll be starting
steroids
again until I can go onto Azathioprine or what but I had to go to the appointment

the side effects has been terrible. This infusion takes all day, so in hospital again for 6 to 8 hours. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had this medication and what their experiences have been. thanks in advance.

My whinge on this occasion is that the doctor I saw last time and who had arranged this test seems to be on a crusade to get as many patients as possible off

Lymphedema & Knee bursitis
I have Inflammatory arthritis, Sjogren's and OA. I have been on Methotrexate and Imraldi since 2017, before that I was on Benepali. I have had a new hip in 2017 and I also suffered with my knees which despite many steroid injections they are no longer having any effect. I saw my rheumatologist

tapering off steroids
Hello I'm currently tapering off 5mg Prednisolone, initiated a few years ago when I had Covid which was triggering my severe asthma. I don't need it anymore for that reason except I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency a few years ago. Recently seen an endocrinologist and had a short synacthen

Hip Replacement while on treatment??
My husband, who is in a Clinical Trial at MDA for Richter's, needs a hip replacement badly - such that his severe arthritis is a bigger deal to his quality of life than the Richter's. He saw an orthopedic pain management specialist last week who had nothing to offer, stating that a steroid injection

Nothing stopped them:
steroids
, migraine medication, etc. They have suddenly stopped. I've had migraines my whole life, but never a run like that after a procedure (and they are largely controlled with CGRP inhibitors).

intermittent fasting - impact of delaying steroid intake
There are many health benefits including anti inflammatory and bone health in this process but I am wondering how my body might cope waiting for its
steroids
? I guess it’s only 1 day out of kilter and then it’s just a new time ? Any experience out there ? Thank you ( ps I’m on 3mg of pred )

New diagnosis
Not best pleased as already have asthma but more because a lot of my care and treatment has been reactive...have some more antibiotics and
steroids
that clearly weren't working! I see my Respiratory Consultant tomorrow so let's see what he comes up with.

I built muscle naturally, no
steroids
. As my testosterone naturally decreased in my late 50’s I started gradually shedding muscle mass. Still worked out, ran, biked and I was okay with this natural decline.

Due to the
steroids
it took me 10 days to get discharged. I'd had an air leak (for those of a certain age, I sounded like Orville the Duck for 4 days) and despite a drain there was still liquid sloshing around.
