Synacthen Test Results
On my follow up the endocrinologist said I passed the test and that anyone would feel better after the test as it's
steroids
and he wouldn't recommend going down that route for medication. Thing is I'm wondering where to go, does this result conclusively rule out secondary arenal insufficiency?

Does GCA Recur ?
After taking Prednisone only, and a few minor flares, I have slowly tapered down and as of June 29th 2023 am now off of the
steroids
. My question is, does GCA return, and if so, at what percentage? Thank you so very much for this site.

Stem Cell Transplant update
I feel well in myself except for side affects from
steroids
which I should be off in a week. They make it difficult to sleep, make me hungry and over full of energy . Many of my blood counts are in normal range except for platelets. These keep yo-yoing around.

Back for another go
Ive had a break as my health has been poor but I've been told I need to go back onto
steroids
and at my current weight, that will be disastrous. Last time I stuck pretty rigidly to around 800 calories a day and managed to keep my weight gain to 2 stone.

Hi, new to this page/forum, looking for information and advice.
Have been on PAS page and Thyroid UK page for a few years but just thought I'd be greedy and join yourselves too. Have been having increasing levels of pain and discomfort for years but just told lose weight, take brufen. Last few years have been awful , eventually got a referral to Rheumatology. Bloods
