HiI am back to try again. Ive had a break as my health has been poor but I've been told I need to go back onto steroids and at my current weight, that will be disastrous. Last time I stuck pretty rigidly to around 800 calories a day and managed to keep my weight gain to 2 stone. This time is not going to be so easy as my living circumstances mean I have more limited cooking facilities. Last time I was already about 1/2 to 1 stone overweight before I started. I have only lost 1 stone since coming off them so I seriously need to get more off before I have to take these evil things again. Weigh in Monday was 11 stone 2lb. 🙈

Our weekly weigh in is always the 3rd post down.
Good luck 🍀
Hi. Thank you. I'll wait until Monday for a weigh in. Start the new week as I mean to go on! Thank you for the link. I'll spend the weekend planning so next week is easier. Good to be back, with a goal. First one is to try to get back to where I was pre steroids.
I sympathise with you. Maybe I mentioned it earlier, but my daughter was prescribed steroids when she was little. It made her ravenously hungry, and her temper became rather feisty. Always wanted to eat, but since she was just three, I could manage her diet and keep the calories low. Opted for lots of low-calorie options. She developed an intense craving for fish (never encountered that before or since!) I’d prepare her a small portion of fish for lunch almost every day. Fortunately, once her pain was gone, she also had an urge to keep moving. We got her a tricycle, and she’d whiz through hospital hallways. Once home, she’d ride in our backyard as if a monster were chasing her! It was a challenge, but she returned to normal once we could stop the meds. Hoping the same for you.
