Small Vestibular Schwannoma
On 12/21/22, I was sitting at home and my left ear suddenly began to ring. It did not stop, so the next morning I called my doctor and set up an appointment. He wanted to make sure that I didn't have a sinus issue, so he put my on some common sinus medication for two weeks and told me to advise

immuno stopped due to inflammation
morning everyone , I’m currently on immunotherapy ( only had two so far) but this month I’ve developed a cough , chest infection, the hospital checked and say there is inflammation and infection in my lungs , either as a result of immunotherapy or previous radiotherapy… they’ve stopped my immunotherapy

Having pectus carinatum and PC would radiotherapy or chemotherapy affect the strength of the rib cage structure?
I have PC but also epilepsy which I have had for over fifty years, over 400 + seizures thus weakened my rib cage structure [affected by pectus carinatum/pigeon chest] over the years thus likely to refracture. I have had radiotherapy but would that or chemotherapy affect the bone strength of my rib cage

Post radiotherapy side effects
Hi folks. Completed my radiotherapy treatment in July 2022 for prostate cancer.Starting to pass a little blood and mucus in my stools at times. Was wondering if this was a delayed response to the radiotherapy. Has anyone else experienced this ? Thanks in advance

Has anyone got any information or experience of a AN that is cystic? I have been to see the specialist to discuss options and it seems surgery is pretty much my only option. Radiotherapy is being discussed with the MDT but unlikely apparently due to the risks of swelling after treatment and the cystic

No more PSA tests until 6 months post radiation?
Hi all, it has been a while since i've posted but have been following the posts pretty much daily. I hope all is going well. I am just posting on behalf of my father today. He did ask this PSA question to his team and they told him that this is the standard practice. So.. they may be right but I of course

Sub acute small bowel obstruction
I had pelvic radiotherapy some 40 years ago and have had chronic radiation enteritis and bile acid malabsorption for the last 20 years or so. Recently following a routine unrelated abdominal CT scan I've been additionally diagnosed with sub-acute small bowel obstruction, which I'm assuming is secondary

Hi all, this may be a silly question but is it possible for the stage of cancer to change to a lower stage if treatment has been really successful? my husband is stage 4, Gleason 9 and has had hormones, chemo and radiotherapy. His oncologist is really happy with how he has responded and all sites
