Mefanamic acid, painkillers and advice about moving area
My previous GP gave me the repeat prescriptions and was more concerned about the
stemetil
(which I only take if I really have to for nausea) long term.

can't cope with this 24/7 anxiety.
First the GP said it was vertigo and put me on
stemetil
. Didn't work. Then they put me on betahistine. I was then referred to an ENT who told me to come off the betahistine because it was for menieres and he sent me for a CT scan to check for anything sinister.

Vomiting with Migraine - a tip!
Finally the migraine clinic doctor wrote to my gp and suggested I and my husband were taught by the practice nurse to administer my own injection and since then I have my own stock of syringes and prochlorperazine (
stemetil
) which I keep with me at all times. Its been a life-saver!

I think I know what caused my RLS - Stemetil/Anti sickness meds/Metoclopramide Hydrochloride
I was treated for sickness before my RLS started. I didn't experience anything that I recognised as RLS then, though it started soon after. However, a week ago, I was prescribed Metoclopramide and went into full blown RLS symptoms right away. I've found this link. http://www.ehealthme.com/ds/metoclopramide

Would appreciate any tips to calm me down in time for Monday!
I'm on omeprazole (last 3 days), 2
stemetil
per day started yesterday and 40mg propralanol for the last couple of weeks. Neither nausea med seems to be helping and I'm not sure about the beta blockers. I feel truly awful. I know there are no quick fixes here, but I'll try anything.

How long before vitamin b12 tablets start to work?
Feeling faint and dizzy is making it hard to go about my usual routine, although I’ve been prescribed
Stemetil
, and that’s helping a lot.

Feeling low, scared and anxious :(
He has given me
stemetil
to try but he doesn't think it's an inner ear thing causing balance issues. He ran some bloods, a huge list of them and all are normal other than my cholesterol is up a bit. I am worried sick and I can't seem to be ok with this.

Update on my earlier thread 'I felt fine til doctor reduced my thyroxine dosage'
I'm still suffering with balance/dizzy issues, the doctor was sure this isn't thyroid related, thinks I may have had a virus, and has prescribed
stemetil
.

I felt fine til my thyroxine was reduced .... has anyone ever taken a little more than their GP recommended, just to stay well?
This terrified me, I was prescribed
stemetil
which helped, but once my dosage was established at 150mcg per day, all the symptoms went away, and I’ve been fine ever since. Fast forward to September 2015. My annual blood test showed that 150mcg was too high.

Follow up to my last post
My wife looked this up and it is described as follows- Prochlorperazine (Compazine, Stemzine, Buccastem,
Stemetil
, Phenotil) is a dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist that belongs to the phenothiazine class of antipsychotic agents that are used for the antiemetic treatment of nausea and vertigo.

Trying migraine preventers, getting all the side effects and no reduction in migraines!
I then started to get heart palpitations, I took
Stemetil
during a particularly bad migraine, which I had been prescribed, but wasn't told it must not be taken with Amitriptyline as it can cause an irregular heart beat! I ended up having paramedics tend to me at the end of that day!!
