hi my wife has been a sufferer of migraines for years but recently she has pickup an ear virus and has been given Stemetil 5mg tablets. Does anyone know if she can take painkillers for the migraines with this.

Hi, yeah she can. I take it for migraine vertigo along with my painkillers and triptans if needed.

Hi Mike

Sorry to hear about you and your wife suffering in this way.

To my knowledge, stemetil can change the effect of certain medication such as antidepressants. However, to get the most accurate information, I would suggest contacting the local pharmacist from a chemist. They have a wealth of information about drugs and their effectiveness.
