E/M Codes for Kidney Transplant Evaluation
Did my pre-transplant testing day in January and received invoice from practice. They billed traditional Evaluation/Management codes E/M codes and expected some type of pre-transplant screening CPT. Does anyone have deeper billing coding guidance on this?

UK government's 12 week shielding group.
Everyday there is people asking "I have ,x,y,z conditions, should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" or "I have not received a letter from government, but should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" The following is the list of conditions where patients should have received the "12 weeks shielding/isolation" letter

Hello everyone
I am a liver transplant recipient, long wait on the transplant list, 19 months, due to my type B blood. Usual complications that come with end stage decompensated cirrhosis. Transplanted August 2018 at the Royal Free and making an excellent recovery after a long journey. Happy to ask for and give support

Just joined, hello everyone.
Hello I have just joined. I am a 69 year old female. My interest is to hopefully chat and maybe, support anyone who has been diagnosed with liver disease in its many silent killer forms. A few good people stood beside me, when I was diagnosed, this changed me, because they cared, they supported

Liver Transplants at the QE Birmingham.
This is really for those who are on the liver transplant waiting list, and who are awaiting that elusive phone call. I have heard that for the time being, all liver transplants are on hold, until this present epidemic has calmed down. Those patients are advised to stay on contact with the transplant

How many liters of water do you drink??
Hello. How much water does everyone else drink for their kidney transplant? For a first few years, I used to drink 4liters or 16 cups of water. One time, I drank around 24 cups of water and I couldn't breathe. Horrible experience. Since then, I toned down alot to around 1-2 liters of water. I think I

Inconsistent and Confusing Advice about Isolation, Social Distance and Shielding and WHY this is REALLY IMPORTANT.
This post began life as a response to another user's post. It got a bit long, so I am posting it in its own right. I would love to hear people's responses and experience of this. I interpreted the recent rheumatology advice in the same way (see the other post here: https://healthunlocked.com/lupusuk/

Hair loss after kidney transplant
I am 65 years old and received a kidney transplant from my husband in September 2019 and all went well. However in the past couple of months I have noticed significant hair loss. I had really thick hair which is rapidly thinning. I believe this could be caused by one of the many drugs. Any suggestions

Lymphoedema and Covid19
This email was sent out by the Wittlinger Therapy Centre, Austria, earlier today - it explains a lot in an easy to read way: Dear patients! Since we have received more requests in the past few days about whether people with lymphoedema disease have an increased risk of COVID 19 infection, we have summarized

Stay positive and notice your patterns
Hi All, I am 5 months post 2nd kidney transplant. Being in London and under the care of an excellent hospital, it is absolutely necessary to be getting bloods done in such an early stage. I am at least fortnightly presently and needed to go back today after just one week as having a recent biopsy due
