Did my pre-transplant testing day in January and received invoice from practice. They billed traditional Evaluation/Management codes E/M codes and expected some type of pre-transplant screening CPT. Does anyone have deeper billing coding guidance on this?

When you went through your pre- transplant evaluation you were most likely given a packet of who to contact with questions regarding multiple things. One of those should have a billing contact that can explain the codes
