It says online that it has less adverse effects than
statins
, but the side-effects on the enclosed leaflet pretty much cover everything you can imagine. Anybody got any experience of this medication?

High Cholesterol
Obviously I will be contacting the dr for more information, but just wondered if anyone experienced high cholesterol caused by underactive thyroid and if thyroid medication reduced cholesterol levels without needing
statins
. Thank you

Anyone else have Tendon Issues?
Because
statins
can be a factor, I immediately quit taking atorvastatin. I also found a study that claimed aromatase inhibitors can also be a factor—I cannot quit Letrozole! Has anyone else had tendon tears? It is extremely painful!

She also wants me to start taking
Statins
. I don't want to take more medications, neither do I want to change my taper. I started it on the 9th August 2023 and have had no problems.

Does anyone else experience constant anxiety about their health?
Put on betablockers and
statins
. But I still worry about every and any odd twinge or pain and convince myself I'm having a heart attack, or the pain in my arm is a warning sign. The back pain is a warning sign....and on it goes.

Doc wants me to start
statins
and I’ve always been very reluctant due to a bad reaction but recently had a call from the Pharmacist for a review and she said I could take one statin once a week and it would still help, not everyday which is usual!

Ezetemibe side affects
I can't take
statins
so they're trying me on this. My cholesterol was 6 total and it's come down to 4.7 but I am on a low fat diet now and have lost half a stone so far. I'm not like this usually so wondered if anyone got the same affects from me when on ezetimibe.

starting statins and blood thinners
I just found out that I had a silent stroke in the past according to a recent MRA. I am starting a med that keeps platelets from sticking together and a statin. I am scared to death of the side effects. Any advice?

Declining eFGR
My cholesterol was 4.6 and is now reduced to 2.0 since taking
statins
Since this decreasing level i have changed my lifestyle and diet. I have reduced red meat, no processed food, no crisps or chocolate and limited alcolhol to below 20 units a week.

Test results
Hi everyone, I've received the following test results and have been advised to take
statins
. Do you think these results look like I could get my levels down with diet and exercise? My surgery obviously doesn't think so... Many thanks
