Hello, About to start my 5th weekly Taxol cycle tomorrow, and just got confirmation for what I suspected last month: it’s not working anymore. After a very good start (CA 125 went down from 300 to 40, then was 49 a month ago), the marker is now 97. I guess I will finish the 5th cycle and probably the

What now?
It is 5 years since I was diagnosed with late stage OC. Went through 2 surgeries, 6 lines of chemo, and remissions are becoming shorter and shorter. I understand that it is incurable, but still have things to do and so I continue fighting, but somewhat reluctantly. Most recently my gynae-oncologist suggested

Chemo cancelled this week
My weekly taxol got cancelled yesterday, have a temp of 38.3, felt a bit achy but otherwise fine, had bloods done and on a drip for 2 hrs, all bloods came back ok, so they think it's viral but sent me home on antibiotics just to make sure it doesn't develop into something nasty, better safe than sorry
