If tinnitus is through hearing loss how can stress make it worse?
I’ve just had a private hearing test and my hearing loss in my left ear is severe and moderate loss in my right ear, which is causing my t to get worse over the years. If there’s something physically wrong with my ear why would stress make it worse? It’s such a complicated thing, but I’ve always felt

UAT results before seeing private endo
Hi all. So I am trying to get my head around “why” I want to see an endo. (Most likely going to be private). Sorry if this is long!! Quick overview.... First diagnosised UAT Jan 2018, medicated with 50 Levo. Pernicious anemia with b12 jabs (diagnosised 8+yrs ago). Low vitamin d following July 2018

HELP! Contraceptive implant and endo
Hi! Will try and keep this short and sweet. Had awful periods from about 14 and thankfully I was put on the pill straightaway. Didn't help with reducing the pain, but ended up taking back to back packs so just had fewer periods. Fine. Few years down the line, and a few missed pills later I decide to

Progesterone only pill - opinions?
Hi everyone, I'm completely new here and was looking for some experiences/opinions on the progesterone only pill? I was given it after having my contraceptive implant out (which left me with a painful cyst and bad ovulation pain ?endometriosis, but much more regular periods). I was wondering if anyone

Tinnitus and Cochlear Implants
Hi , I know I have put this message out before , but I would really like to hear from anyone who has had a Cochlear Implant to help with their Tinnitus? I have an implant in my right ear, hoping it would help with the Tinnitus, it masks it a bit, but I can still hear the ringing especially by 6 o clock

Lots of pain during a Lumbar Puncture?
Hey guys, I have not posted for over a year but recently I got referred to the hospital after 2 years of headaches, raised optic discs, swollen optic nerves as well as all of my (still) undiagnosed chronic pain and sleep problems. At the hospital they decided that I needed a Lumbar Puncture to measure

Someone help me *birth control*
I’m 18 years old, and all my life I’ve never had an issue with my natural periods. I got put on birth control (the pill) to help my skin at around 13/14, but with that came hell. My period would never stop, I would bleed for months and months at a time. The pill never made my periods extremely painful

Can I restart a week due to injury?
I’ve currently done all runs consistently up to W3R1. On the same day of my last run, I had a contraceptive implant put in my upper left arm. The nurse told me no exercise for 2 days but reassured me that by today (3 days later) I should be okay to go for a light jog. However when I got out of bed this

Confused,Lost and Overwhelmed! (It's a long one sorry!)
Hey! I'm new here. Basically, since I was 13, I have been struggling with digestive issues (Ibs). and over the years it got worse. At the age of 16, I decided to get the contraceptive implant. This was the single, most worse mistake of my life. It was like it flicked a switch within me. Fast-forward

I think I had a miscarriage...on implanon?
I’ve had this particular contraceptive implant in for about 2 years and 3 months. I am also considered morbidly obese at 175cm tall and 148kg. Doctors say this can reduce the effectiveness of the Implanon and bigger women should replace them sooner. I am also in a long term relationship and we do not

Hi, I'm Val. I lost my hearing a couple of years ago due to meningitis. At the time I was very angry, depressed and wished I would have died. Recently though, I've decided to get out and start living again. I went for a hearing aid eval and the audiologist suggested I go to an ENT for a cochlear implant
