feeling a little lost
Apologies in advance for the long post but if anyone can offer any advice I’d appreciate it! I was admitted into hospital 2 years ago for what was suspected appendicitis. I had a lap to have it removed and once inside they seen cysts and endo which was what was the cause of the pain nothing to do with

Anyone else had BC change from E+ to triple negative?
I've never heard of anyone having this happen so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had it happen. I have lobular bc that was diagnosed at stage IV 20 years ago and have done well in treatment but have more side effects now and while my long survival got me way passed the initial fears, I feel so

Grade 4 endometriosis in Pouch of Douglas
Hello everyone I am new here and have joined for advice and support , as you all know endometriosis can make you feel very isolated and alone at times. I have had issues with pain and heavy periods since I was 11 years old , with so many appointments back and forth to GPs and different Gynea departments

post-op incisions
Hi everyone, I had surgery (ovarian cystectomy & excision of endometriosis) on 18/02/24 One of my wounds seems to be open. I feel ‘fobbed off’ by doctors who state it will close on its own. Did anyone else’s incisions look like this? Did they heal okay? Also, my belly button scab has now fallen

Why are things so grim?
Ugh… I doubted myself recently when I went to see a consultant again. Despite having endo treated twice before, I thought ‘what if it’s not endo this time?’, ‘what if I’m wasting this person’s time?’. …anyway I’m booked in for surgery in 2.5 weeks time and can’t come soon enough. Today I started my

I have had CKD3B for 7 years. I am 76 years old. I suffered from end stage interstitial cystitis After battling it for 5 years. My ureters would back up fluid into the kidney and cause UTIs and hydrophynosis, landing me in the hospital on IV antibiotics for 5-6 days, 6 times that year. My urologist

changes
Hi everyone I had my quadruple bypass back at the end of June. I did extremely well with recovery and suffered no setbacks. Now coming up to 9 months post surgery. I’m just wondering what changes people made to their diet and lifestyle following their surgery? We had/have a healthy diet anyway but

Advice on shrinking endometrioma
Hi, I've been recently diagnosed with endo and have a large endometrioma on my ovary. I've been advised the only way to get rid of it is with surgery. However I'm weighing up whether surgery is worth it due to A) the risks of other organs being damaged and potentially losing my ovary and B) it still
