Aortic stenosis
Morning all , I’m 14 months post my second ablation which was an RF redo to tidy up the PV and left atrial floor as I was told . I’m very pleased with my progress so far with only two mild and short episodes of AF . I also have mild to moderate stenosis of the valve which I was told in 2017 would have

Missed period
Hi All Lovelies, I had my endometrial biopsy last month (results were normal). I spotted after the biopsy up until 6 days later (14/09/23) my period started. I’ve been waiting for my next period, I’m 7 days late and pregnancy test is negative. I had an operation, post period in Sept for another problem

And I thought I had a full plate-
Well we went in today for his fourth pluvicto dose. Went mostly well but he’s been weak lately and had a few bumps in the road but that’s a story for another day. While I was waiting I met two other people who were getting treatments. One was getting his first pluvicto dose today. The second one

Update - friend with bronchogenic adenocarcinoma
Hello all, Thanks again for your replies to my original post as a newbie for a friend. She saw her rad/onc today and the PET results are encouraging! No cancer showed up outside the lungs. He recommends she see a thoracic surgeon for her 5 cm mass (golf-tennis ball size) to see if she is a candidate

I have CLL 17p deletion. Been on Ibrutinib since February 2019 and have done great! I had hip replacement surgery before I was diagnosed with CLL and now find myself facing replacement for the other hip. Anyone had this type surgery while on Ibrutinib? I know there will be protocols to come off the

Gall bladder surgery
I was hospitalised last June for 10 days as I had an infected gall bladder and scans showed I had a large gall stone.I was put on intravenous antibiotics and pain killers. Fast forward 7 months and no further problems I had a phone call from the hospital giving me a date of 5th February for surgery

Cataract after Preserflo treatment
I'm 4 months after glaucoma surgery / preseflo, I still have blurred vision - today I was diagnosed with a cataract on the operated eye and also retinal swelling. Does anyone have experience with such a case - how to treat it (cataract surgery will help). I will be glad for the reactions - experience

Getting there, but slowly
More blood tests back now but still don't have all the figures. Serum immunoglobulins all normal Coeliac screen - negative Ferritin 197 (range 13-150) Transferrin saturation 38% (15-45) He's not happy about this even though it's "normal" Homocysteine - normal IFA - still negative Gastric parietal antibodies

Laparoscopic Surgery and PV
I am 67 years old and have had PV for 3 years. I am on 1,000 mg Hydroxyurea and one low dose aspirin per day. I have to have laparoscopic surgery to remove my ovaries. I am very concerned because of the higher risks of blood clots or excessive bleeding that I have read about for people with PV during

How to convince your GP a suppressed TSH is ok?
For years I’ve had a suppressed TSH following a trial of T3 probably 5 years ago which didn’t work and I haven’t taken it for around 4 years (need to check my records for exact dates). My GP has always been fine with it, and even the rubbish NHS endo agreed it would take time to recover - or as I know

MRI results
Hi all, So I’ll try and sum things up briefly. So I have pretty much all the symptoms of endo but two surgeries came back clear. I was made to feel like I’m going crazy and I’m imagining all the pain. Anyway, I begged for an MRI scan which showed 4.7cm cyst on my left ovary. They want to do an ultrasound

Possibly DNR chat
Evening, I’ve posted before but I have a separate question now. Tomorrow my mum will have been in ICU for 4 weeks. I went to visit this evening and was made aware that my mum’s named doctors want to have a chat with me tomorrow. The doctor who told me this was the duty doctor and said the named doctors

advice
I have been told I have Vasculitis not sure what type. Hospital sent for me as they were worried about my kidneys. After spending a worrying night in hospital I was told after a Anca blood test it was found it was only mild so was not put on steroids. Told just need routine blood test at GP surgery.
