B12 deficiency not treated
I am new to this website and do not know if I have PA? Went to see Gp in June 2019 as feeling worn out, dizzy spells and generally feeling unwell. (taking into account I have a failed spinal fusion back syndrome and Fibromyalgia). First time I had B12 checked and it showed 79 - told I would need 6 injections

Hi there. Just an introductory post. My name's Connor, I have FA, and I'm 24. I was diagnosed when I was 9, had spinal fusion surgery at 12/13, I started using a walking frame at 17, and went into a wheelchair at 20. I have a degree in accountancy, I don't work but I've done a bit volunteering. Now a

MRI found 2 cm lesion on pelvis, doctor said to ignore it.
He had been suffering from lower back pain with tingling in his legs, so he had an MRI of the spine April 2018 which showed some
spinal
stenosis
. It also showed a 2 cm lesion on the left ilium (pelvis). His family doctor had a bone scan done which again was clear.

Fighting to keep awake. Is it the medication?
I have
spinal
stenosis
and since December last year my life has changed completely. Before I was going out several times a week, able to walk to the shops, about a mile, nearly every day. Also active politically and in the anti fracking movement locally. I live in Yorkshire, England.

SPINAL STENOSIS and prednisolone
Hi everybody, some weeks ago I mentioned
spinal
stenosis
and the long wait to see physios. I have now seen musculaskeletal depatment. As I now have trouble walking 25 yards without sitting down, failure to sit down means my legs and feet go numb, and I am at risk of falling.

Disability benefit or just tough luck?
Is it possible to get any benefits due to the
spinal
stenosis
? I show a photo of the MRI scan. I was thinking of maybe a disability benefit as if I work the symptoms come back and according to the surgeon it may get worse, but he doesn't want me back for assessment to next year.

Lumbar spinal stenosis with PSP?
My husband also was diagnosed with severe lumbar
spinal
stenosis
and it was recommended he have
spinal
fusion. We are not going to do that at this point. Can't imagine adding that on top of everything else. The rehab would be nearly impossible.

Lupus and Fibromalgyia
Hi all I'm super new to this site. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and it's been downhill ever since. I'm now seeing a psychiatrist for my mental health and he suggested I go back to my rheumatologist and ask to be rechecked. He thinks I may have something else either Lupus or something else. I do contract

A Detailed History of my PMR Journey
My doctor’s original assumption was that my symptoms were due to
spinal
stenosis
, but when I recognized my symptoms on the Internet and suggested PMR, she ordered ESR and CRP tests and started me on 20 mg of prednisone.

Pain 10 years after a spinal fusion L5/S1
Hi All, Has anyone suffered an overwhelming increase in back pain following a spinal fusion? I had mine 10 years ago now and although not 100%....had been doing alright in my retirement. I had been a nurse for 40 years and although I tried couldn’t return to work comfortably, so decided to take early

Ecmo and icu
Hello, my partner was admitted to A&E a week ago and put on a ventilator with severe pneumonia. Nothing helped until medical staff flew down from London to put him on ecmo and transferred him to London. He hasn't woken up after they stopped sedative 4 days ago, but he has eye movement, breathes alongside

Pain clinic fail.....😖 (long rant sorry)
I had an appointment with the pain clinic consultant last week after being seen by his registrar to get my pain medication sorted out. I’ve had chronic pain since a spontaneous Sacral fracture five years ago. I take Naproxen, Nortriptyline, Co-Codamol and Butrans patches. These had all been prescribed

Worried about reherniation...
I know that I had another herniation besides the one that got fixed during surgery, bone spurs, osteoarthritis,
spinal
stenosis
, and nerve compressions.

Bowel endo
Hi, I had a resection in 2016 due to endo that had infiltrated my bowel wall. I had had previous surgery to remove endo. I have been fine since then until the last 6 months. My periods have gone incredibly heavy and pelvic pain is starting to creep in. The issue is I have had bowel problems for 6 months

SPINAL STENOSIS
Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has been on long term steroids like me, and is now suffering from
spinal
stenosis
. Started 3 years ago with numbness in one leg when walking. Now considerably worse, where walking is limited and pain and numbness only stops on sitting down.
