I have tried to post 4 times but I'm having a problem with my new lap top so I apologize for this post . I might have to post a few times to get your feed back. A urogynecologist performed 2 pudendal nerve blocks which didn't help one bit. The injections were done in his office WITHOUT the use of a

Confused afiber
Hi, I was diagnosed with afib two years ago with a single episode, I now take Apixaban and bisoprolol daily. I had a heart scan at the time and all was well but I haven't seen a Cardiologist at all, I asked my gp if I should have had checks ups and he said no, is this the norm? Put on drugs and left

Long QT syndrome
Hello all. Over the past few months I’ve felt on the brink of passing out many times. I have a history of ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardia. I take daily Verapamil and Flecainide for this. This afternoon I had a 7 day ECG fitted. The routine ECG carried out beforehand showed a pause between

Ectopic beats?
Hi all, I have PAF and as I can’t tolerate the meds I am due to have an ablation in July. Over the last couple of days I have been experiencing what I assume are lots of ectopic beats on and off during that time. I have a Kardia mobile device and keep getting ‘unclassified’ readings as opposed to ‘possible

BISOPROLOL
Hi everyone, I have been having a debate with my pharmacist regarding Bisoprolol. Certain manufacturers, like Sandoz and Bayer have the active ingredient Bisoprolol Fumarate. However, the one that suits me is produced by Merck (is called Cardicor), and has the active ingredient Bisoprolol Hemifumarate

Since that last ablation I had extreme chest pain, breathlessness and extreme tachycardia leading to multiple collapses. Thankful the pain has eased but the rest of symptoms Im still

Hi ladies, I have been a member on here for a while now but always been to shy to post. But I am really struggling now and need a bit of support from people who understand so thought I would introduce myself. I have had the diagnosis of Endo since 2013, had numerous contraceptives, 3 laparoscopies

🔭 Surgery is always scary even without MS. So this post is to make a mini support group for anyone has surgery on the horizon🌄.
Hello everyone in our family it's Fancy1959. Surgery is always a major area of concern for all people that need it. When you add complications MS can pile up on it it becomes something many people with MS fear. As many of you know I had to have reverse shoulder replacement surgery back in the middle

Post ablation weakness
I had my second heart ablation on Tuesday for bigeminy / frequent PVCs . I had a post op groin bleed and almost fainted 6 hours after the procedure - i am home now but feel extremely weak, tired and a bit dizzy when I am upright . My resting heart rate is currently 56-60! I am sure I can still feel palpitations

TENS machine helping!!
I have been really suffering with muscle spasm upper back and neck and occipital neuralgia lately. I’ve had the ON before but been ok for a while but it’s back!! I’ve previously had nerve block injections into the occipital nerves so it’s been pretty bad! Today I woke again with a migraine and pain

HB romping along at 100, after 12 days....
To recap: 4 weeks ago I had an, apparently sucessful, dual ablation for flutter and A fib. Afterwards I felt pretty good with a steady HB around 60. 12 days ago my heart started racing, and after an unsucessful attempt at conversion using Flecainide as a PIP, I was told to add a daily dose of 2x100

Flecainide is my friend
Just wanted to report a good thing. After two happy years on only PIP, I had a really rough a fib event that lasted maybe 12 hours and threw in some flutter while it was trying to quit... so EP and cardiologist tag teamed me into agreeing to take daily meds.. think about ablation. I cannot multitask,

Flying with SVT.
I'm having to fly for the first time since I've been diagnosed with SVT back in 2015 of May. I've had two ablations and when I come back from my trip on May 29th I go through my third ablation. Since then they have put me back on cardizem and they've had me on Xanax for a while. Has anyone ever flown

off Methotrexae after 6 injections
Hi All! I have posted my concerns while answering a few posts but I thought I would broaden my audience. I was diagnosed with RA in October of 2017. I started on Lefluminide for 6 weeks but had some bad reactions. My Rheumatologist then put me on Methotrexate injections (25mg per week). I only did
