So a few years ago (like 6,7) I had a tilt table test; I was collapsing etc and then it went away. Until about 2 years ago, once again I'm collapsing (or near abouts, since I can stop it), my blood pressure and heart rate mess around and I've found out I'm hypothyroid. I have episodes of tachycardia,

Medication and Heart Rate
Does everyone experience this? With my Afib I take metoprolol taurtrate. My heart rates goes from the 50’s to 80’s low 90’s in the same day. I take 75mg 2 x’s daily. Is it normal for heart rate to be up and down? I am 4 months post abliation. It seems to have gotten like this over the last three

REPEAT NERVE BLOCK
Hi..just wanted to know how long after follow up with Consultant last week - who wasn't keen on giving me another one ...didn't think it was that BENEFICIAL as only lasted 4 months of less pain /increased mobility. Had to be really assertive as i know i did get some benefit even though it was short term

Hello fellow fighters! Anyone have any ideas of how to feel better, short of a nerve block. This one is kicking me hard. Appreciate any feedback.

Change of anticoagulant, all done!
Thanks to those who responded to my question about changing from Rivaroxaban to Apixaban. I expected a couple of short answers but the resulting discussion was interesting! Undiagnosed nerve pain
Hello. I am 44 years old, male from Sweden. Since October 2015 I've had really distressing nerve pain, most severe in my feet, but also in my face and lower back. I've had 4 neurological investigations (with EMG, nerve conduction studies and thermal thresholds), seen 7 neurologists and 30+ other doctors

Apixaban newbie
Hi everyone, found your discussions yesterday when looking up how to live with Apixaban due to atrial fibrillation. I'm an Eliquis newbie, on it for just 5 days. I've been freaking about bleeding, and what you all share is so reassuring and realistically informative - big appreciation to you all.
