anyone had a nerve block procedure done?

my son had an accident 18 months ago boxing. His recovery has been slow , recent mri scans are good and now his neuro has told him he has "nerve damage" . He is on amitripyline and gabapetin . On monday he is having a "nerve block" procedure which will be injected into the base of his skull , has anyone had this done and did it work ? thanks

A couple of links here Joben ; can't say the HealthUnlocked forum shows many positive comments, but people have such individual physiologies and personalities that it's impossible to tell if the procedure will be good for your son until he tries it.

I hope all goes well for him in terms of noticeable & prolonged relief.

Hi there. My son had this done aged 13 for persistent migraine (he doesn’t have a BI I do!) and it was brilliant. He said it was uncomfortable but his migraines were dramatically improved. Hope all goes well for you. Best wishes Blim
