Trigger point Injections/nerve block
I had trigger point injections and a pedundal nerve block 2 days ago. My pain has been gradually getting worse since. Is it normal to flare really bad? I have alot of pain and like this pressure feeling. I hope I didnt worsen anything. :(

Atrial Tachycardia or SVT post ablation for AF
I recently had my 3 month check up following a PVI ablation for paroxysmal AF and at the time things were OK. Less than a week after the review I had either Atrial Tachycardia or SVC . It lasted for a few minutes, then a few minutes later another one which lasted for about an hour. A week later I had

Apple Watch ECG
It’s been a long wait for my referral at Glenfield but only 4 more weeks to go. I took on the advise from others about seeking a private consultation to then go back into the NHS but even that route was a struggle to get any response. Looking forward to getting answers on what my irregular rhythm is

Pain in ankles and lower legs
I stated to have aching and numbness in ankles and legs once I started on Apixaban. Cardiologist changed my anticoagulant to Riveroxaban. I still have the same problem. Does anybody else find this?

Anticoagulants cause back pain?
I've been doing a lot of research on whether anticoagulants can cause back pain. What I've found is that if you look hard enough, any drug can be reported to cause any side effects. So, realistically, I'm asking those who have experience with anticoagulants. I've been on apixaban for approximately 2

The question about broken toes and Apixaban...
Thank you all for your helpful responses. My question was really intended to establish the possible effects of anti coagulation medication in the healing process. I am continuing to take my pills, I am in no rush to have a stroke😊. It seems that none of you have had a problem and that therefore it

Levator Ani Syndrome or PNE?
After 5 years of chronic pelvic pain, rectal pain, pain while sitting, lower back pain, and sexual dysfunction, I have spent many of these past few years in and out of doctors offices ruling out things like prostatitis, back problems, having normal MRI scans, Xrays, etc. My pain doctor suspected that

After 6 months
Last night was the first time since my ablation on April 1 that I have felt af. It lasted about 1/2 an hour and went away I’ll call my cardiologist today as I am no longer on a blood thinner. I am only on a dose of metoprolol. Will see what his input is Hopefully it is a one time occurrence.

3 month post Ablation. EP say to stop taking apixaban.
Morning All. I went for my 3 month post Ablation check yesterday at LGI. I have done really well, so far, no AF and, apart for tiredness, seem to be recovering well. I have been advised to now stop taking my apixaban, as, I was told, I was in more danger of bleeding than having a stroke. I am 50 years

BP monitor & ContecMP10 Portable ECG monitor
Hello, Has anyone any experience of using a BP monitor called WatchBP-HOME S with AFIB detection? If so how accurate is it. I have a contec MP10 portable ECG monitor but while it records Bradycardia, VPB, tachycardia and says No abnormal it does not seem to specifically let you know if you are in PAF

Can someone please explain what this means from my cardiologist please. I would like to be prepared with any questions when I see him next week; On the 48-hour monitor, she was predominantly in sinus rhythm with first degree AV block, but she did have a few episodes of a narrow complex tachycardia. Thank

PAF for over two years, but now 'heart block'?
Hi everyone. Some of you will know some of my history, but here's a recap: I had my first AF occurrence back in May 2017, two and a half years ago. I was seen by an EP and put on his waiting list for ablation. In mid September 2018 I was offered an ablation at very short notice, and as I had no knowledge

Increasing dosage of Nebivolol
Hi - I'm on a dosage of 5mg of Nebivolol (2.5 mg in the AM & 2.5mg in the PM) for my atrial tachycardia. I have been getting a few runs of fast heartbeats and palpitations that don't turn into a full blown episode around 2 or 3 AM in the morning. Should I ask to increase the evening dosage to address

Apixaban
I take 100mg Atenolol which makes me tired but until recently has masked my heartbeat. I have recently changed from Warfarin to Apixaban and I seem to be more tired and get feelings of dizziness / not being quite right! Has anyone had similar side effects with Apixaban - or could it be that my AFib is
